MISTI meets Altenew

Hi stampers!
And welcome to the Altenew and My Sweet Petunia blog hop. You have probably come from the amazing Agnieszka Malyszek blog , if you haven't you may want to start this hop from the Altenew blog and go from there, because trust me you don't want to miss anything. (scroll down for complete list of the blog hop participants)
Little more about Altenew:
Established in April 2014, Altenew strives to bring elegant, natural and versatile designs in paper crafting products. Altenew firmly believes in sharing happiness and comfort with our loved ones through creative expression of crafting. We know that personal, delicate touches of a hand-made card or scrapbook page can bring joy to people that are important in our lives and we are proud to create products that help inspire alluring projects/creations.

Few things to remember :
1. Make sure you leave comment on all the blog, as My Sweet Petunia will be giving away TWO Mini MISTI tools and Altenew will be giving away THREE $30 gift certificates. Winners will be picked randomly from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop. Winners will be announced on the My Sweet Petunia and Altenew blogs on July 3, 2016.

2. Because Altenew loves MISTI they are offering our readers 10% off their order until July 1st,

Now onto my card, I used two Altenew sets to create my card : Golden Garden and Label Love. Label Love is one of my all time favorite sets and when I need a sentiment it's my go to set. I used my MISTI tools to create the ombre look with the blue ink pads. Make sure to watch the video how I made my card. I actually made about 10 at the same time (just cut them from the video so you are not bored watching me stamping dozen times the same images over and over again, trust me I saved you some of your sanity). At the end I added some sequins and Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen onto the flowers.

And now it's time to head to the amazing Yana Smakula's blog. She never disappoints, so make sure you head to her blog and leave her some love.

Love you cupcake and video

Hi stampers!
I am back today with another cupcake card, actually I made TWELVE. I made these for a swap, so you can notice in the video that I have stack of panels, cupcakes etc. When I made this card HERE I stamped bunch of extra cupcakes and decided to use them for my swaps, but before that I wanted to add extra dimension, so before I die cut then, I used the last step of the layering stamps and Versamark ink to stamp over the darkest color and emboss it for extra dimension and interest and I really like how it turned out.  I used my MISTI to layer exactly on top of the darkest image and since the cupcakes were stamped with the MISTI I was able to line up perfectly every single one of them without moving my stamp from the MISTI lid.

Hope you are inspired to create something today!

And before I leave you with my card and video, I wanted to mention that DaySpring is having Customer Appreciation sale - 25% off storewide. And if you have ever been interested in the Illustrated Faith kits, this is your chance to get them at discount and they ship free if you log in.

What does the fox say?

Hi Stampers!
When I saw this set in the new Stampin' Up! Catalog, I knew I had to have it! It's so much fun and  it has so many possibilities. It comes with coordinating punch that you can use to build so many other critters. It's so stinkin' cute and FUN! I was inspired by one of the cards that I saw from On Stage (but that one was with a kitty), but I decided to go with the fox! I had couple hiccups while making this card as you can notice in the video (ink smears) , but I like how it turned out!
You may need to turn your computer volume and YouTube video volume up, as I had issues with the microphone (don't worry I ordered a new one, so it'll be here tomorrow ;) )

Enjoy and I hope you do something creative today. I am off to the gym with my littlest one :)
