Hero Arts :To My Dearest Friend

Hi stampers!
I am slowly getting back into the groove of creating. Today I have a card I made little while ago, but never got around sharing it. It uses the Hero Arts Color Layering Deer set along with the Confetti Bold prints that was stamped on one of the Earth mix folded note cards using versamark and embossed with White embossing powder. List of supplies is on the bottom of this post.
Hope you are having a great day and a week and do something creative today.

Hero Arts: Thank you

Hi stampers!
Happy Weekend! I can't believe it's almost February! Where did January go? Oh, wait, Creativation and all the prep and then attending. I finally got to play little bit tonight (I had hard time starting, because I didn't know where to start from). But I had this background I did last year using the Hero Arts Holiday Florals Bold prints, and I stamped it in Versamark, embossed in clear embossing powder and run it through my laminator with Gold Foil. I stamped the flowers tonight and leaves, made the sentiment and arranged everything on my Blush note card.

List of supplies is on the bottom!

Hero Arts and Ellen Hutson: United we Flourish Better Together

Hi everyone,
Welcome to the Hero Arts and Ellen Hutson United We Flourish stamp and die set release.
One of the best things about the crafting industry is the opportunity to partner with other great companies and work together. And this stamp set "Better Together" reflects that. I love the sentiment "We all share the same branch", which is a sentiment that kind of shows what is this craft industry all about.
If you want are following the hop you probably came from Heather's blog. and from here you'r next stop will be Janette's blog If not, you may want to start from the beginning over at the Ellen Hutson's blog
The set includes lots of fun images, sentiments and coordinating dies. It can be purchased in the Ellen Hutson store here
For my card today I stamped the images onto Hammermill 100lb card stock and colored with copics. I did some ink blending using Soft Pool, Tide Pool and Butterbar inks on the background. For my top panel I cut out a window using the Circle infinity dies. I adhered over the ink blended panel and arranged my elements, then stamped the sentiment. I adhered the whole image onto white card base and added sequins for more interest..

Giveaway: To celebrate, two randomly selected commenters will win a $30 gift certificate to the Ellen Hutson shop! To enter just leave a comment on the Ellen Hutson Classroom blog by 11:59 PST on January 28th.

January My Monthly Hero Blog Hop and Giveaway!

Hi Stampers!
Happy Monday! And welcome to another My Monthly Hero release.  Hope you are following the blog hop, and if you are already tired, don't worry you are almost to the end. There are only 2 more stops after me, but trust me you don't want to miss them. The best comes last.

This month's kit is called Layered Love. And if you are like me, you will fall in love with the font of the stamps of this kit. It's perfect for Valentine's day, anniversary, friendship etc. For me is like knocking two birds with one stone, as our anniversary is in February (10 days after Valentine's day). Let's take a look at the main kit

Kit Contents:
4" x 6" Layered on Love Clear Stamp Set
Four Coordinating dies
4 ink cubes (Passion Flower, Navy, Red Royal and Mulled Wine)
2 5"x7" Shizen decorative paper
1 5.5"x8.5" Stardream Coral Cardstock
1 5.5"x8.5" Stardream Rose Quartz Cardstock
1 5.5"x8.5" Stardream Kunzite Cardstock
Heart Sequins Mix 1.5 oz
Pink Prisma Embossing Powder 0.5 oz

The value of the kit is nearly $62, but it is sold at $34.99.

There are also some amazing  add-on products this month - 3 clear stamp sets with coordinating Frame Cuts, 4 woodblock stamps, one Paper Layering die, one Fancy Die. You will also find a DIY calendar kit and Original and Mini MISTI stamping tools in the Hero Arts store today! And this time I can't pick a favorite because I love them all!!!!

Now, you have probably arrived here from Libby's blog, and if you haven't trust me you don't want to miss her amazing projects. So go back to her blog or start from the beginning(the Hero Arts blog) and if you arrived here from her blog, then you are on the right track and your next stop will be Clare's blog(and you don't want to miss her project, either).

I am starting with two projects I had shared over the Hero Arts blog using the main kit. So head over there for complete details for the following two cards. But don't you love that intricate heart die from the kit?

For my first card I used the main kit. I stamped the "&" with Strawberry bold ink, then the 2nd step with Versamark and embossed with Gold. As well as  the you and me sentiments. I created shaker card using the sequins and the pretty papers from the kit.

For my second card I used the Bouquet wood mount stamp along with a sentiment from the Color Layering rose. I stamped with Intense Black ink and colored with my copics. Then stamped the sentiment on black layering paper and embossed with white embossing powder. Assembled my card and added some Nuvo Drops for finishing touch.

For my next card I used the Love birds stamp and cut set. I stamped the birds on Arches watercolor paper and colored with Zig clean color real brush pens, then die cut them. I created my background using some Daniel Smith watercolors, stamped and embossed the sentiment and assembled my card.

For the next two card I used the Love Bandit set. I created two different shaker cards one using white tulle and the second one classic shaker card using acetate. Isn't that raccoon the cutest?

And for my final card I used the Color Layering Rose set along with the Happily Ever After wood mount stamps. I used Cotton Candy, Rose Madder and Gold embossing powder for the roses and Fresh Lawn and Gold embossing powder for the leaves.
