For today's card I used the Life is Sweet set along with the Fridge die and Candy counter 6x6 paper pad.
To make the card I started by stamping the sentiment onto white card stock panel measuring 3 3/4" x5" using Dark Wash Jeans ink pad and  leaving space on the bottom for the fringes. I die cut several fringe strips from the patterned paper and layered them together offsetting them for 1/2 fringe width. I adhered them together and trimmed them to width of 3/4" then adhered to the stamped panel. I added two thin strips of yellow/mustard and navy card stock. I adhered the panel onto Navy card base and added some coordinating Nuvo drops

And make sure to be back tomorrow for more inspiration!

Ink blot Shop and MISTI blog hop and give away!

Hi stampers!
Happy Thursday! Today I am sharing a card using couple of the new Ink Blot Shop sets and my MISTI.
I love building scenes using stamps, so the new "Little Something" and "Get Grounded" stamp sets are perfect for this and with the MISTI they are match made in heaven.

I positioned my stamps on top of my card stock panel(overlapping) and picked the top layer with my MISTI (the boy and larger cloud). Using alcohol marker friendly ink I stamped the images onto the panel. I stamped them once more on masking paper and cut them out. Next I masked the images and stamped the second layer (ground and smaller cloud), removed the mask and colored them ;)

I stamped sentiment from Sentiment Label Blocks and adhered to the panel. I assembled my card onto Black top folding note card.

Head over to the My Sweet Petunia blog for full details and list of designers participating in the hop
The MISTI design team is helping Tiffany celebrating her new release with this hop and it's not a hop without give aways :)
Tiffany is giving away a product bundle as pictured below and Iliana (My Sweet Petunia) is giving away MISTI and Cut Align tool.

The winner will be announced on the My Sweet Petunia blog on March 5th. Make sure to leave a comment for chance to win. Winners will be chosen from all across the blogs.

Impression Obsession: Old is New

Hi everyone,

Sometimes we get so busy with new released stamps that we forget about our old favorites. The Impression Obsession team has set aside a couple days a month to share some new projects using some great older stamps. You can see the list of today’s participants on the Impression Obsession blog
For my card today I decided to use the Hydrangea clear set. I stamped the images using Turf and Violet ink pads. Once my panel was stamped I cut it down to 3 3/4" x 5" and cut off a strip that would fit the sentiment from the same set.
I arranged the elements onto note card and marked where I need to stamp the sentiment so it's centered in the gap between the two panels.
Once I had my guidelines I stamped the sentiment, then adhered the both panel pieces using fun foam. To finish off the card I added some White Nuvo Drops on the hydrangea flower.
