Modern Medley Jars

Happy Saturday! I guess it's already Sunday.

The watercoloring bug has bitten me, I have been watercoloring different images for the past few days that now I need to put into projects/cards.
But, today I have a little different project. I used baby jars and large jar. I made tea light holders using the little baby food jars and candy jar with the large jar.

On the bottom there are the supplies and instructions.

I think the watercoloring bug has bitten me. I have been coloring more images. I just find it really relaxing.
Here's a card I made using old favorite set, it used to be hostess set many years ago, Nature's Sketchbook.

Matching Toddler Game

Hi all and happy Wednesday!
I have been quiet for few days. I just got backtracked with the Convention 2014 planning (yes, I am going this year), the Catalog Premiere registration etc. And I didn't post.

Today I have a little game I made for my 2 yr old. The title may be misleading :P We are not playing a game of matching toddlers, but it's a matching game for toddlers.
I saw similar idea on Pinterest using paint swatches, so I decided to make it 100% Stampin' Up!, well almost 100%, as the clothes pins are not sold by SU! :)

The instructions and supplies are listed below. I will post a diagram for the box in the next few days.

note: I have added some cards in my Etsy shop --> Look at the far right side bar for link to my Etsy shop. Some are already sold out.

Monster Thanks

Hi all and Happy Sunday!
We are finally getting over the nasty stomach bug, but baby is still fighting sinus infection so the vomiting has not stopped completely. But I know there is light at the end of the tunnel and it's not a train.

For today I have another Monstermaniacs card. This set is just too cute!!!! I paired it up again with Geometrical set, I just love the circle stamp from it for backgrounds!
I will be listing some of my cards in my Etsy shop for sale. So if you want to get some check out my Etsy in the next few days, they should be there ( as time and kids allow ;)) --> Look on the far right side bar for my Etsy.

Sorbet Thank You

Sorry this post comes so late, but my 7month and I have been battling a nasty stomach virus. And I feel wiped out.
I decided to play with some more of the SAB items before SAB is over. So I pulled few supplies and the Sweet Sorbet accessory kit and whipped out few cards. This is one of them. I was inspired by a card I saw from Kimberly Van Diepen. I love the Off the grid and Gorgeous grunge sets, they are so awesome for backgrounds.

There are several more days left of Sale-a-Bration, so hurry. You get 1 item free for every $50 you spend (before tax and shipping) and let me tell you, this year's SAB items are AWESOME!

Heartfelt Notebook

Today I have something different than a card. A notebook that  I decorated using the Heartfelt banner kit from the SAB brochure. I didn't want to make a banner, so I was looking for different ways to use the kit. I have few of these notebooks that just scream to me: Decorate me! Please! so I did so.
There are couple more weeks left from SAB, so hurry up, and you can get this kit for free (with qualifying purchase) ;) To shop for supplies click --> HERE

You're my best mate

You all probably got tired of all the watercoloring cards. Well, I have good news, here's little bit of change. No coloring! LoL.

I used bunch of items from the High Tide suite from the Occasions catalog, not my usual style but I did it. Think outside the box.

tip: to get thinner ribbon I cut it in half. lengthwise and removed the threads that were hanging out.

Love You Monster

Hi all,
It was a busy weekend and busy Monday, so I didn't get around posting. But here I am :) I made this card using the Online Exclusive set Monstermaniacs. I LOVE the monsters from this set. As well I used the circle from the Geometrical set to make the background to kind of reflect the circles on the body of the little monster.

March Paper Pumpkin

Today my Paper Pumpkin packages arrived. Yay! I LOVE the March Paper Pumpkin. I had to make few of the cards right away. I added some more colors, instead of the ink  spots provided in the kit (Calypso Coral and Island Indigo). I used Crisp Cantaloupe, Strawberry Slush and Crushed Curry in addition to the Calypso Coral.

Vivid Vases and Blog Candy Winner

It's almost Friday. Wow, the week flew by. It's amazing how fast it goes. Today I have a card for which I combined two sets Vivid Vases and Geometrical. I used the circle from the Geometrical stamp set to create the background for the card. I like how it came out.

Petal Thank You

And we are half way through the week! The work week, that is.
Today I have yet another watercolored simple card. I am addicted to coloring lately, but I know this phase will pass, too :P
I used Happy Watercolor set and Lots of thanks set. I LOVE LOVE the poppy flower from the set! So I had to use it.
At the bottom you'll find the supplies and simple instructions

Birthdays are like hairballs

Hi All and Happy Tuesday!
I have another card using Giggle Greetings! I am trying something new with listing all the supplies used and you can see a photo at the bottom with supplies and instructions how to make the card.  You can click on the image for larger view, so you can see better the text.
Let me know if you like this format, it's little bit more time consuming but personally I do like it.
You can find the supplies in my online store HERE.

I had so much fun coloring this cat :). However I did use some More Mustard textured card stock and More Mustard marker, that are retired, but the kitty had to be mustard (in my mind).
Hope you are all having a wonderful day :)

Peaceful Petals Clean and Simple

Happy Monday!
Don't you feel sometimes like however you turn it's Monday again. It's an endless circle :P

Here's another simple card I made using Peaceful Petals set, I stamped the image on watercolor paper and colored the image using markers and blender pen, then cut it out using paper snips.
The panel is Very Vanilla card stock. I cut 4" x 5 1/4" and then using my edgelits I cut the bottom edge. (I forgot the name of the edgelit), then adhered a strip of Modern Medley dsp, stamped the sentiment (non SU!) and then adhered the flower and leaves.
At the end attached the panel onto Basic Black card base.
