It's time for the new Hero Arts 2020 Catalog release and we are celebrating with a hop (see all participants on the bottom of this post) and giveaway (again details at the bottom)
If you are like me, you will LOVE LOVE this catalog. There are a LOT of amazing new products and you'll want them all. I had hard time picking with what product to work for today's hop so picked up few.
Hero Scapes!!! Those are amazing new layering stamps. I used the sunflower one!

Orange Blossoms! LOVE LOVE those big oranges and coming from the Medeterannean I had to use this set and make not one but 2 cards.

Last but not the least, another one of my favorites and best way to use scraps of card stock! Thinking of you stamp and cut set (I am in love with the sentiment font and size!!!) and the Circle Pattern bold prints.

A note on the new black MISTIs
: The new MISTI-s will be available March 15th, but display "out of stock". You can put yourself on the "notify me" list to be notified when they'll be available

Picket Fence Studio: February Release is LIVE

Hi everyone!
Happy Friday and Valentine's day. But it's not just that, happy Picket Fence Studio release day!
Have you seen the new paper glazes?!? You better go check those out. I have few cards coming using those, but they were still wet and couldn't finish them for today (that's what happens when you work at last moment).
Anyway, this is a smaller release than January, but it's an amazing one nonetheless.
For my card today I used the new Funky Leaves stencil, Favorite Notification set and Hello Word die.
I used shades of teal/green to do my stenciling using the Life Changing blending brushes. Once my background was done I trimmed it down to 3 7/8"x5 1/8". I die cut the Hello die 3 times (one from glitter black card stock and twice from pitch black) and adhered all the layers together, then added to the stenciled panel.
Adhered the die cut to the panel. Stamped sentiment on pitch black card stock, embossed in white, trimmed to size and adhered to panel.
Using fun foam I adhered the panel to top folding note card.

Pink and Main: Hello Friend, Ergonomic Blending Brushes and Video

Hi everyone,

I am back today with a Pink and Main post for you and a video using the new Ergonomic Blender Brushes and Garden Gate Stencil.

To make the card start with a piece of white card stock measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and secure the stencil over it. I used two blender brushes for all of the colors used, but you can use as many as you like or as few as you like.

Watch the video below (or click HERE) to see how this card came to be.

Starting from the lightest color start blending the inks going to the darkest. The colors I used are the following: butter bar, soft cantaloupe, pale tomato, bubble gum and ultra pink. Once done remove the stencil and trim the panel to 4" x 5 1/4".

Next stamp the sentiment, I used Spring Sentiments and Terrariums set for it. I cut the Hello Friend in half to separate the works and stamped in two separate lines. Trim the sentiment and layer onto Ice Rink Sparkle sheets. Adhere to ink blended panel. Adhere to top folding note card and add Birthday Girl glossy dots to finish it off.

Impression Obsession: Old is New and VIDEO

Hi everyone,

Sometimes we get so busy with new released stamps that we forget about our old favorites. The Impression Obsession team has set aside a couple days a month to share some new projects using some great older stamps. You can see the list of today’s participants on the Impression Obsession blog.
For my card today I used the Failure Thought Me stamp along with the Faceted background stamp.
To make the card stamp the background using Embossing ink and emboss in white. Ink blend Canary, Melon, Bubble Gum and Peony Ink. Trim to 4" x 5 1/4". Set aside. Stamp sentiment in black and cut in circle. Mat onto black circle.
Using foam adhesive adhere to ink blended panel. Add jewels and adhere to top folding white note card.

Hero Arts: Birthday Paw-ty and a VIDEO

Hi everyone,
I am back today with yet another video.
Today I am using the new Hero Arts set that was released on Monday called Birthday Paw-ty along with the coordinating dies to create some faux dimension using masking.

To make the card start with a piece of Dove white cardstock. Die cut masks and saved the negatives for the dog, balloon and circle.
Stamp the dog using Intens-ified black ink, mask it and stamp the balloon. Remove mask. Using the negative of the mask position on top of the dog and adhere the mask on the dog. Repeat the same with the balloon. Once those 2 images are masked, position where you like the circle to be, use one of the MISTI magnets to hold it in place (don't need to remove the backing of the masking paper, you can save it for something else since we are not using it for anything besides positioning). Adhere the negative of the circle die cut and ink blend the 3 colors from the Bright Spring Ombre ink. Remove all masks. Stamp sentiment, color images and adhere to a top folding Dove White notecard using fun foam.
