Catherine Pooler Designs: Always Take the Scenic Route take #2

Hi everyone!
I am back today with take #2 of the technique I used today the same set. However for today's card I used bright and cheery colors and only one of the images.
Start with a panel of Premium White card stock and stamp the back of the image using Tiara, Tiki Torch, Be Mine, Garden Party and All that jazz inks on the left side of the panel. Stamp the actual image using Midnight ink over it. Stamp the sentiment. Trim the panel down to 4 " x 5 1/2" and adhere to a black note card!
You are done!!!!

Catherine Pooler Designs: Always Take the Scenic Route

Hi everyone!
Today I have a fun card and a technique to share with you using the Oh Snap set from Catherine Pooler designs.
To make the card start with a panel of Premium white card stock, MISTI, your choice of inks ( I used color palette from the Hispter patterned paper: juniper mist, hot tub, skylight, green tea and sauna).
To make the card pick three of the images from the set that are most symmetrical. Line them up in your MISTI but to stamp with the back of the stamp, not the image side. Stamp them, then repeat using different colors for each row. Once done, line up the stamps on your background to stamp the actual image and stamp using Midnight ink. Repeat for the entire background.
Super fun and easy especially if you want to add color and you don't really like to color.
Trim the panel to 4" x 5 1/4" and set aside. Stamp the sentiment on black card stock using Versamark ink, emboss in white and cut to size. Assemble your panel and adhere to a white note card.

Hero Arts June My Monthly Hero, GIVEAWAY + Video

Hi stampers!

Welcome to the June My Monthly Hero release blog hop. This is yet another kit you don't want to miss!!!
This month's release celebrates the wonder of the Northern skies.
So lets get started. I created 3 cards I made using the kit! I started with a swiping ink onto my card stock(shadow dye ink) and then quickly stamping the background using embossing ink. Let it dry and it lifts the color from the previously inked background to create a fun effect. To add little bit more fun I applied Mica powder to the background then wiped off the excess using soft cloth.
After everything was dried I added my elements and finished off the cards.
