Hero Arts: Happy Holidays

Hi everyone!
I have a fun holiday card for you today using the Build a Tree set from Hero Arts combined with the Wreath builder stencils from Gina K and I built a wreath instead of tree.
I started with a piece of Dove White card stock measuring 4" x 5 1/4" and stamped the wreath using Strawberry, Fresh Lawn and Pine inks. Once done I stamped the sentiment in black.
To finish off the card I adhered it to Cherry note card using fun foam.
All supplies are listed on the bottom of  this post.

impression obsession: Die Cut Obsession

The Impression Obsession Design Team have set aside a couple days a month to share some fabulous new Impression Obsession die projects! Have fun checking out what our Designers have made today. Today's participants can be found on the Impression Obsession Blog.

For my card today I used two of the Winter die sets:Primitive Snowflakes and Typewriter sentiments.
To make my card I die cut the snowflake and sentiment 4 times and adhered them together to get a thicker die cut, once dry I applied embossing ink and poured sparkle embossing powder and melted it. I followed this with 4 layers of ultra fine clear embossing powder. Once they were dry I assembled my card.

And of course, a brand new all-in-one stencil called A Walk in the Park - 6x6 Stencil !

For my card today I used the Pick of the Patch set and the coordinating Petal pushers dies along with Sweater Weather patterned paper. To make sure the pumpkin is stamped nicely I started by stamping both layers of it, next so die cut it and then stamped the stem in Olive. Another way you can stamp it, Is with stamp positioned such as the MISTI or any other. Start with a blank die cut and the negative. Put and secure the negative in your stamp positioned, position the 1st layer of the pumpkin, insert the die cut and stamp, next position the 2nd layer and stamp and lastly the last layer or as many layers you have. Do the same for the little critter.
Cut 3 3/4”x5” piece of white card stock, stamp sentiment in Raven hybrid ink and adhere the images. Using fun foam adhere the panel to 4”x5 1/4” Sweater Weather pattern paper then to top folding note card made from Kraft card stock.

Spellbinders: Wreath slider card

Hi stampers!
Second post today! I have quick and fun slider card to share with you using the Spellbinders large die of the month. This die set is on sale until Sunday October 20th!!!!
In the set you have all the dies needed to create the slider, plus elements to decorate the wreath: stars, flowers, balloons, bunnies, leaves, snowflakes....
I used woodgrain, green and white card stock to cut the pieces for the card. Additionally I cut HI from brown card stock and flowers and leaves from watercolor paper. I colored the flowers using watercolors.
I assembled the card, added twine to the slider piece and voila.
Disclaimer: this is so easy to make that actually my 7 yr old die cut all the pieces and colored the flowers, since one armed was tough to assemble the card.
So...this is great project to make with kids, too. They love interactive cards!!!!

Today's card was made using one arm only. LOL. I had shoulder surgery on Wednesday and ran out of time. So it's a simple card. I used Mondo Sakura set. Put the stamp in my mini MISTI, applied few distress inks (cubes) sprayed with water and stamped on watercolor paper. I splashed some gold paint and stamped sentiment. Adhered to top folding note card using fun foam and added black Nuvo Drops.
