Hero Arts: You can Conquer Mountains

Hi stampers!

Happy Friday! Yay! the weekend starts in just few hours. We have a picnic event at work, so that should be fun.
Today I am sharing a card using the Color Layering Mountain Lion set and dies from Hero Arts!
I love this lion! With everything going on at work lately (meaning a lot of work with crazy deadlines) as well training for couple more half marathons, the sentiment from this set is perfect reminder!

Spellbinders: Mosaic Vine Thank You

Hi stampers!
I am back today with a Spellbinders card. I used the Mosaic Vines die as the main element of my card. To make the card start by die cutting the vine from Barc Wood sheet, and set it aside.
Cut piece of wood grain card stock to 4" x 5 1/4" and sprinkle some FineTec gold watercolor. Add copper thread and adhere the die cut vine.
On strip of black card stock stamp the Thank You sentiment using Versamark ink and apply WOW Copper Metallic Embossing powder. Using black dimensional tape adhere to the panel.
Adhere to top folding black note card and add copper Nuvo Drops to finish off the card.

Thanks for stopping by today and hope you are inspired to do something creative today!

Catherine Pooler Designs and WOW blog hop and give away!

Hi Stampers!
Welcome to a fun blog hop between Catherine Pooler Designs and WOW! Embossing Powders! WOW! and Catherine Pooler creative teams are hopping today featuring embossing powders and glitters from WOW! and Catherine's stamps, dies  and inks!. It's like match made in heaven!!! If you are hopping along you should have come here from Chrissie Tobas's blog, and your next stop would be Ingrid Blackburn and trust me, you don't want to miss neither of these ladies' designs. Full blog hop list is at the bottom of this post along with prize details!!!

I made few cards using Catherine's goodies and WOW! embossing powders. For my first card I did some faux acrylic pouring. To make the circle (the faux acrylic pouring), you will want to die cut 4-5 circles and adhere them together to get one thick piece. Smoosh Versamark over it and apply WOW! Opaque White embossing powder. Heat set, then repeat the process 4-5 times. Once dry apply ink (I used Flirty Fuchsia, Tiki Torch, Lime Rickey and All that Jazz. Heat set and repeat. Once dry, you will want to apply another coat of Versamark, then apply WOW! Wanderlust embossing glitter (this one is inspired by Catherine Pooler). Set it aside to dry. In mean time die cut 3 Handwritten hello die cuts and stack them together. Apply versamark and WOW! Wanderlust embossing powder. Set it aside to dry. For the background die cut Stained Glass cover die and apply Versamark, then emboss with the Wanderlust embossing powder .Assemble the card :) (this one may need extra postage for mailing due to its weight)-card inspired by Jennifer McGuire

For the next card you will need the Perfect Vines Dies, Awesome Word die along with Love is in the Air (I used the "Are" from the set) and The World Awaits set (I used YOU). To make the card, die cut the Perfect vines, apply Versamark and apply Wanderlust embossing glitter. Next apply Versamark only on parts of the leaves and emboss with Under the Sea Embossing glitter. Set them aside.
Die cut Awesome few times. Apply Versamark and Under the Sea embossing glitter. Repeat once. Apply Versamark only on the top half and emboss with the Wanderlust embossing powder. Assemble the cards.

For my last but not least card I used the Hello die along with the Kaleidoscope stamp. You will need to start by stamping the background and emboss with Metallic Copper. Turkish Nights and City of Angels embossing glitters. Die cut Hello 3 times from Midnight card stock and adhere all layers together. Apply Versamark, then Turkish Nights powder. Heat set to melt the powder. Repeat the process. Assemble your card!

You should have arrived here from Tracie's blog, but if you didn’t, you can find the whole blog hop list at the bottom of this post.
And your next stop is  Ingrid's blog .

PRIZES: To celebrate the new release Catherine is so awesome and 5 random winners chosen to receive two free ink pads (and free shipping!)  Announced Friday, June 22nd.

All supplies and overview of the release are at the bottom of this post!

For my first couple cards I used the new Starlights stamp set and the coordinating dies, along with the Star word die  and the Twisted Sunburst Stencil (for the first card) . Colors used: Tiara, Tiki Torch, Party Dress, Rockin' Red and Midnight.

For my next card I used the Say it with Diamonds set and created rainbow background using the diamond stamp from the set. I created grid (I have video in my day 1 hop post how to do it) and then stamped the images. This way, they are aligned nicely! Colors used: Party Dress, Rockin' Red, Tiki Torch, Limoncello, Lime Rickey, Aquatini, Juniper Mist, Grape Crush, Flirty Fuchsia, Midnight

The next card uses again the Starlights set, I drew a circle with pencil and stamped the little stars from the set inside the center. Next you can stamp the sentiment onto Midnight card stock with Versamark and emboss in white. The last card is pretty straight forward. All you need to do is stamp stars on the white panel and sentiment, then stamp larger stars onto separate piece of white card stock, die cut and adhere to the card.
Colors used: Tiara, Tiki Torch, Flirty Fuchsia, Lime Rickey, All that Jazz

Colors used: Rockin' Red, Tiara, Lime Rickey, Something Borrowed.

Impression Obsession: Sea You Soon

Hi stampers!
It's time for another Impression Obsession challenge. This time around it's "Sea You soon" I used few of the new dies for my card and did no stamping! Yep, you read that right, I only used die cuts for my card.
To make the card you will start by die cutting the Sea Life Frame from Emerald card stock panel measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Then die cut the Fish Set from various card stock colors, I used Sweet corn, Wild Mango and Rose Petals.
Next, you will assemble all the elements onto a pool colored note card. To finish it off die cut the Better at the Beach die cut from black card stock, adhere onto your card and embellish with few sequins!

PRIZES: To celebrate the new release Catherine is so awesome and 5 random winners chosen to receive two free ink pads (and free shipping!)  Announced Friday, June 22nd.

All supplies and overview of the release are at the bottom of this post!

For my first couple cards I used the new Say it with Diamonds set. Watch the video below to see how this card came to be. My second card is very similar just changed the colors and sentiment used,.
The colors I used for this card are: Flirty Fuchsia, Lime Rickey, Tiara and All that Jazz.

For the second card I used: Something Borrowed, Lime Rickey, Melon Ice and Tiki Torch

For my next card I used Shea Butter and Rose petals. I stamped the images in the middle, then added two strips from Midnight card stock to frame the pattern and adhered to note card made from Midnight card stock.

Last but not the least I have a card using the Starlights stamp set and the coordinating dies. To make this card it's best to start by stamping the sentiment in the background. Stamp the one in the center of the panel then stamp above and under it. Once done stamp the little stars using Aquatini ink pad. Stamp and die cut the start using Flirty Fuchsia, Tiara and Lime Rickey ink pads. Before you move onto assembling the card stamp "you're" on Midnight card stock and emboss with white embossing powder. You are done!

MISTI and Alexandra Renke Blog Hop and Giveaway!

Hi Stampers!
I am back today with a card featuring some Alexandra Renke goodness. If you are not familiar with her stuff, you better check it out! I stumbled upon their booth at Creativation earlier this year and I was blown away. I fell in love with their poppy papers and intricate dies.
Today I have something little different than intricate dies and poppy papers ;) I am using the Many Angels stamp set along with Angel with a star die and Wishes stamp set.
As well I used some Alexandra Renke paper.

To make the card you will start by die cutting the angel on cream panel. (I left off the star) and you will use the negative image. Once the angel is die cut, use your MISTI to stamp the sentiment and the heart. The heart is from a different angel image from the set, but I only inked the heart and masked off the rest. Stamp it few times with Versamark in order to get nice impression and emboss with gold embossing powder.
Use mounting tape to adhere to card base made from Alexandra Renke paper. Use the MISTI to align the panel into the corner of your card base.
