The September  kits are amazing and you don't want to miss them.
Also we have giveaway and coupon code for your kit club subscriptions!!!

Couple weeks ago I shared bunch of ideas using the Card Kit HERE so you can see more ideas using the September Card kit.

For my card today I decided to use the set and dies that come in the card kit. I thought the two hedgehogs were so stinkin' cute so I had to use them!
To make the card die cut the frame twice and stack it up. Let it dry. In meantime stamp the two hedgehogs, heart and sentiment on piece of 4" x 5 1/4" white cardstock using alcohol marker friendly ink. Make sure that your little scene will fit within the frame die cut. Once stamped color it in. Adhere the frame around it. Using craft foam adhere the panel to light blue note card.

Hero Arts: Hero Kids Monsters Release, Blog Hop and Giveaway

Hi everyone!
Welcome to a special Hero Kids release, a super fun Hero Kids Monster kit!!!! Do you have kids? Or you just like monsters? This kid is perfect for you and your kids and there are so many possibilities. The kit content is below!
Also we are celebrating the release with a hop and a give away (details on bottom). So...if you are following the hop you should have arrived from Dana Joy 's blog and your next stop is Pocono Pam
Be sure to visit all the blogs for super fun projects.

I decided to use one of the printed scenes and color it with alcohol based markers. Once colored I added details with white gel pen such as polka dots, stripes etc. Once I was satisfied with the look I laminated it and trimmed it. Used scissors to round the corners so they are not sharp and poky ;) You can also use corner rounder punch if you have one.
Next I stamped the monsters from the Monster Ink 'n' Stamp Tub  on Dove White card stock with black ink. I added packing tape on the back to reinforce it. Then colored the little monsters using alcohol markers and fussy cut them. Next I ran them through sticker maker with repositionable adhesive.
And have a fun scene to place the little monsters and move them around and provide hours of fun for little ones. My 5yo loved this!
Scroll down for the full blog hop list, supplies and giveaway details!

Pre-order the Kids Monster Kit today! Once sold out, the kit will be gone. The kit and any items ordered with the kit will ship together starting October 9, at the same time as our upcoming October My Monthly Hero Kit.

If you are following the hop you probably arrived from Tanya Boser and your next stop is the amazing Becky Roberts
I have couple cards to share today. The first one uses the new Chase Me background building stamp. I used my MISTI to stamp it couple times and to create ombre effect. I used Bellini, Coral Cabana and Samba inks. Once stamped I trimmed the stamped area to 3 3/4" x 5" and set aside. I die cut the Hello word die from white and black card stock (the black one is die cut 3 times and the die cuts are stacked). Stamped the sentiment on black and embossed in white.
Assembled the card.

For the second card I used the same Hello die along with the branch die and the Floral stencil. I used Distress oxides and Gel Press along with the stencil to create the background. Once the background was dry cut it down to 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to white note card. Add the die cuts to finish it off.

Pink and Main and Pear Blossom Collaboration Blog Hop

Hi everyone!

Today the Pink and Main design team has joined with Pear Blossom designs for a fun blog hop featuring Pink and Main Products and Pear Blossom EZ lights

If you are following the hop you have probably arrived from Carol Hintermeier blog and your next stop is Cassie Trask.

For my card today I used the set Happy Fall along with the coordinating dies. Stamp the images on white card stock, color and die cut. Set aside.

Using the ergonomic blender brushes create the background and splatter with white iridescent shimmer spray and white pigment ink diluted with little water. Let try. then using piercing tool pierce 3 small holes for the EZ lights.

I used one set of EZ lights (3 little lights) and from the back side of the ink blended panel I threaded them through the holes. Secured the wires using microspore medical tape, but you can use any type of tape. Secure the wires and the battery housing.

Once everything is secure, adhere two layers of foam tape or fun foam leaving space for the battery housing. Adhere to note card. Adhere all the elements and the sentiment and you are done.

I usually put the battery housing on the bottom right of the card.

All the supplies and full hop list are on the bottom of this post!
