You made my day and announcement

Hi all,

I have another simple card to share with you today and something to share.
I was selected to be part of the Lili of the Valley design collective for the next 6 months. So exciting. I absolutely love their images! And the card bellow is made using their stamp James-Butterflies. I stamped it on kraft paper and colored with Faber-Castell polychromos pencils. The sentiment is from Stampin up SAB set "Best day ever", the sequins are from Avery Elle as well as the Rasberry cardstock. The layering diecuts are from Mama Elephant!

Lil Hoot

Hi all,

I am back with another card using the Lil Hoot set by Hero Arts, this time the cute owls. This is yet another card I made for the Friday's challenge by Chameleon over Splitcoast stampers.

I colored the image with Bark and Aquamarine Chameleon pens along with some details with the Seville orange and Olive Green pens. I cut the frame using the Mama Elephant Peek a Frame dies and at the end I added some candy dots from Stampin' Up!

The card base and frame are Bermuda Bay and the image is stamped on Neenah white card stock with Memento in Tuxedo Black ink pad.

So I used the Lil Hoot from Hero Arts stamp set for this card and colored it with Bark and Hot Chocolate Chameleon Pens, plus some highlights with the Fawn marker.
I used Crumb cake card stock for the base (SU!) and Avery Elle Truffle patterned paper. The image is stamped  on some Neenah white card stock. At the end I added some linen thread.

Announcement and Painted Petals Thank You

Hi everyone!
It's time to introduce you Jason Victor Crouse. He was born on February 13th 2015 at 4.28pm via c-section. He was 7lb 5oz and 20". We are home and doing well.
Now onto my creation. I made bunch of watercolor backgrounds before  Jason was born and converted them into cards. One of then is below. I used Painted Petals set and stamped in versamark then embossed using white embossing powder. To finish it up I added some sequins.
