Picket Fence Studios and My Sweet Petunia Collaboration and Giveaway

Hi everyone!
Happy Saturday. Today we are hopping celebrating Picket Fence Studios and My Sweet Petunia.
I hope you enjoys all the stops along the way (blog hop list on the bottom) and we leave you with lots of inspiration and ideas.

For my card I decided to use To the Lovely Couple set along with Fancy Sentiments. I started by stamping the cake in Amalgam Warm Glow ink using my Original MISTI. Once stamped I colored with copics. Then I put it back in the MISTI and stamped over with versamark and embossed with Copper Metallic Sparkle embossing powder. Masked the cake and stamped the sentiment and embossed with the same embossing powder.
The reason I didn't stamp and emboss first is that the embossing powder contains glitter and can mess up your markers. Here's where the MISTI comes to save the day!!!! I trimmed the panel added Irish Coffee sequins and adhered to Chestnut card base and added a piece of copper washi tape as an accent.

PRIZE: Both My Sweet Petunia and Picket Fence Studios has giveaways: $50 gift certificates (one each, two separate prizes). Winners will be picked from all comments across all blogs and will be announced on June 2nd.

Hero Arts: Congrats on Your New Beginnings

Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing a card I made for the 2020 Hero Arts catalog.
I used one of the Peek-a- Boo sets, but didn't use it as a peek-a-boo card, but for a background.
I used the Cling Green house peek-a-boo and stamped on watercolor cardstock using Intens-ified black ink few times, while it was still wet embossed using clear embossing powder then watercolored and trimmed along the lines. Adhered to Pitch black note card. Die cut vellum circle and Congrats sentiment. Stamp sentiment on Pitch Black card stock and emboss in white.
Assemble your card

Catherine Pooler Designs: Two for One cards using Trellis Cover Plate

Hi everyone!
I am back today with two  cards for you. I call them Two for One, since I used one ink blended panel for both cards.
To make the cards I started with a piece of Premium white card stock and ink blended Party Dress, Orange Twist, Bellini, Tiara, Lime Rickey and All that Jazz. Using the Trellis Cover Plate I die cut the panel. I made sure all of the larger pieces were still on the die. I added foam square on each of the larger parts. I didn't do it on the tiny triangle pieces.
Once I covered it all, I removed the backing of the foam squares and pressed another 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Premium White card stock on top. Making sure all the die cuts had adhered I removed and and voila....super fun background. Also I had the original die cut left. I adhered it to a note card.
Next I stamped sentiments onto black card stock, embossed in white, trimmed and adhered to my cards.

Hero Arts: Flower Tote with Infinity Dies

Hi everyone!
Today I have super fun project for you that's not a card using the Hero Arts Flower Infinity Dies.
It's a little 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" tote and can fit some goodies or even 3"x3" love notes.
To make it start with a piece of Azalea card stock and cut it to 8" x 5 1/2", then score the 8" side at 3 1/2" and 4 1/2" This will give you sections of 3 1/2" , 1" and 3 1/2". Score the 5 1/2" side at 1" and 4 1/2", Fold to create the "container" and adhere the sides. Cut strip of the same cardstock wide 1" for handle.
Cut the flower dies twice from Peony,Azalea  and Canary card stock, fold the petals up, ink up the edges using blending tool and adhere them together using foam adhesive or tape to give it more dimension. Adhere each flower you created on the front and back of the tote and you are done!!!

My Sweet Petunia and WPlus9: Thank you cards and a VIDEO

Hi everyone!
This is second post of the day (scroll down for post #1).
Today the My Sweet Petunia team is showing some love to WPlus9. I have been keen of WPlus9 stamps since Dawn started up and I have bunch of her stamps. Her floral images are amazing.

For my card I used one of her new sets called Spring Blessings along with the coordinating dies and couple older sets for the sentiments.
Thanks to my MISTI I was able to easily and quickly do some mass producing. I die cut all the images from white card stock several times, then using the negative in my MISTI as a guide I was able to quickly and easily stamp and color layer the images, then just assembled my panels, stamped sentiments and did some stenciling on my note cards!
Scroll down for list of supplies, give away details and hop list.
And please show Dawn some love if you are able to -- WPlus9

Impression Obsession: Old is New

Sometimes we get so busy with new released stamps that we forget about our old favorites. The Impression Obsession team has set aside a couple days a month to share some new projects using some great older stamps. You can see the list of today’s participants on the Impression Obsession blog.
For my card today I used the Feels Like Spring stamp that is also available as a digital file that you can instantly download and start making cards.
I used the digital file and printed and colored the image.
Once colored I trimmed it to 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" , I layered it on piece of Paradise cards stock, then onto Light Gray card stock note pad that I have previously stamped the Chevron background using Mist ink.
