As I promised .... Recipe Wrap Up Calendar

Here is what I made last night. I have the calendar kit from the SU! mini, still unpacked, but I decided to make my own customized calendar and choose colors and papers I liked LoL, ain't I picky. I made this one for myself, I decided I needed a calendar to keep my crafting stuff organized, I have one for school, but it's not handmade (it's bought from the Drexel bookstore :P) I used Lauren Meader's Timeless template Recipe wrap up, and calendar template I found on SCS, and I cut my own pieces of white cardstock and stamped Notes on them, as I realized I will need some more space to write stuff on in the calenrad. I printed the template on chocolate chip cardstock, cut and scored and glued it together. For the inside I made the pockets out of K&Co AMy Buttler paper, and added a scalloped chocolate chip edges, which I stamped with the All Scallops stamps. On the front I cut out a piece of baja breeze cs, punched it with the scallop edge punch, stamped the flower from the mini sherif alphabet and embossed with white ep, I stamped the images from Fall flair in chocolate chip and white ink, adhered piece of patterned paper, mated on certainly celery cs, stamped the flower and leaves in white ink and embossed with white ep, cut them out and mounted them, then I mounted the baja breeze piece. I stamped the sentiment from the new hostess set Dream a Little, and used the nestabillities to cut it, as well the piece of certainly celery cs beneath it.
For the calendar pages, I stamped the images of the Fall Flair set in certainly celery, baja breeze and chocolate chip. For the notes pages, I stamped the image from Frames with a flourish in certainly celery, and the letters from Calendar a

Another Unity Card

Yesterday seems to have been a long day, I went out shopping for my parents for gifts, I know kinda late, but in Macedonia we Santa Clause comes on New Year, right at midnight, and Christmas is on January 7th. I guess that's how Santa can make it to all places to give the gifts. LoL. Joking!
Anyway, yesterday was my 3-D projects day, but that is not what I am sharing now, I still need to take pictures, I will show you one later, and the other one I can't show until next week.
Now onto the card. I made this one using the Unity kit Tiny Trinity, I wanted to make a card to be more masculine, I really lack of those. I like how it came out, I think it can be unisex :) Scroll down for supplies. I will be back later with my 3-D project to shareSUPPLIES:

Fruit stand

I got this stamp set from one of my uplines a while ago, and I have never used it. And it's retiring now. So yesterday I decided to dust it off and use it. I used the raspberry image. Stamped it on watercolor paper and watercolored it with ink refills and different sizes of paint brushes. I really like how the raspberries came out. It took me a while until I was done, but I do like how it came out. After I colored the image I really had a hard time puting it into a card. I didn't know how to incorporate it into a card, as what I had in mind, didn't really worked for me, I mean I didn't like it. So here is what I came up with, after a lot of cutting of cardstock and trying different options. The definition for gratitude is from Define Your Life stamp set which as well I got from one of my uplines some time during the summer. Scroll down for complete list of supplies.SUPPLIES:
stamps: Fruit Stand, Define Your Life
ink: staz on in jet black, riding hood red, old olive, pink pirouette, chocolate chip
paper: riding hood red, old olive, pink pirouette, very vanilla, watercolor, old olive dsp prints

I made this card late last night, as I was working on some other cards, which I can't show you now and realized I didn't make anything that I can show you. LoL. So I decided to make a simple card using the Unity Stamp Co. set I got from my husband for Christmas called "Gratitude= joy", I am really challenged in making simple cards, I can't make a card in under 30 min, this one took me about 20, but the design process took me as well about 20 trying to figure out which image, which saying, which paper and color combo to use, and which embellishments. I am simplicity challenged LOL....why to be simple when it can be complicated, it has been my moto since primary school. So here is the card!

stamps: Gratitude= Joy from Unity Stamp Company

ink: chocolate chip and bashful blue

paper: chocolate chip, bashful blue, whisper white, american crafts pp

other: dew drops, chocolate chip wide grosgrain ribbon, bashful blue wide double stitched ribbon

On the inside I put a 5 1/2 " strip of tangerine tango cs, and on top I mounted a strip of Haiku dsp the same lenght, I guess I should take picture of the inside too.Hope you all have a great weekend. Scroll down for complete list of supplies. =

More Christmas Cards

Here are the rest of the Xmas cards I made. I totally forgot to share those, so here they are. I used riding hood red cs and dsp, very vanilla cs and kraft cs. And I used my sewing machine to stitch the edges of the riding hood red dsp. On the bottom is a little peek of the truffles I made for my in-laws. I made 3 boxes of those. The boxes are stamped on the outside with Snow Burst stamp set in wild wasabi and riding hood red. I need to get going now to finish the tags for the gifts and pack to leave to visit my in-laws. Check back tomorrow to see the calendars I was making (I still haven't finished my MIL's one, we will mail it to her later, I know it's BAD!!!) and the card I made for my husband for Christmas.

I know, I know

I have been a slacker lately. I have been creating, but haven't been taking pictures so share with you, I know I am bad. But it has been a great weekend so far, well , the weekend is over I suppose. On Friday night we hostes a Xmas party for our bible talk, and we had white elephant exchange. I have been always wondering why it's called WHite Elephant, why not Pink Elephant, or Blue Elephant...hmmm...makes you wonder...On Saturday I was making cards for a swap I am participating for the new Love You Much SU! promotion, be on the look as I will share those once I edit the pictures, and yesterday, we had church in the morning, and then we got together with friends from MA for lunch, it was so MUCH fun, as their visit was unexpected for us, so we went to CHilli's, then when we got home, I made somy fudge and truffles for Xmas gifts for my in-laws and my husband (hopefully he ain't gonna read my blog before Xmas). Then I went to Michael's to pick up few things, and then I made this card with Coffee Hanna set, and I made another set of cards which I will share later.
Now onto the card. I stamped the image on white PTI cardstock, and then with Copic Multiliners I drew the windows and the floor tiles, then I colored the whole image with Copic Markers, and added some clear copic spica glitter pen on Hanna's eyes, lips, shoes and dress, as well on the flower and the mug. The image is 3x5, then I mounted it on soft sky and close to cocoa cardstock. The card base is cloce to cocoa, 5.5x4.25(folded size), on top of it I mounted soft sky cardstock, and some bazzil pink cardstock. I made a stencil from the Sizzlit Swirl Scribbles die, and sponged right side of the pink cardstock, and then added some rhinestones, and tied some shimmery brown ribbon I got from Michael's, then I mounted the image. And VOILA!

Last night finally I got to play with some stamps from Hanna Stamps! and decided to make this card for today's challenge over at Hanna Stamps! forum at SCS. Today's challenge is to make a non-traditional Christmas card, you can use non Xmas stamps to make a Xmas theme, or non-traditional colors. So I used coffee Riley, and the hat from skiing Riley. I am not done yet with the Xmas gifts, I still need to do the picture part, meaning I need to print out some pictures. But I am happy to say that I finished my husband's birthday gift(s), we just had a crack out of it, well from one of the gifts, I may show you a little peek of it, the other gift I will show you later with the Xmas gifts.
I am still cracking up laughing.
Anyways, here are more Xmas cards I made using the Snow swirled set and faux metal technique. I like their simple look, though they were not that simple to make. I used PTI white cardstock cause it's more sturdy. Scroll down for supplies

More Xmas cards- Season of Simple Grace

This past couple days went so fast, that I totally forgot to take pictures of the cards I made and post them here. On Tuesday we had friends over for dinner, I made a Macedonian dish called musaka (mousaka), which is similar to the Greek mousaka, just instead of eggplants uses potatoes. It came out delicious. And then we fattened outselves with some apple pie, cookies and Hagen-Daasz ice cream, and topped that all off with playing SPINJAS, yeah you heard SPINJAS, it's a game my husband brought from over my in-laws place when we were over there for Thanksgiving and he was cleaning the basement and his toys from his childhood, and SPINJAS was one of the games he had.
This is Sean pouting (sp?) because I kept stealing his spinja, actually he kept stealing mine and I kept getting it back. LOL, on the end I just put it in my pocket LOL

As well I got all my grades, woohoo, I am excited as I got three A's and one B+. Especially I am excited for my A in Probability and Statistics, because I was considering dropping that class.
Anyway, onto the cards now. Here are the cards for Sean's side of the family, we made 10 of them, and they are a CASE from the Holiday Mini Catalog. It took forever to make them. I used 12x12 bordering blue cardstock, so the size is almost as a standard card, since it's three fold.

Scroll down for supplies.
As well I have more creations to share, I just need to edit the pictures.

Look what I made last night!

Here are some Xmas cards I made last night. I made 10 for my family, and we still haven't finished yet the ones for Sean's side of the family and for friends. This is not my original design, but cased from Mary Jo Albright. I had to kick my butt yesterday to start creating, as I was in lazy mood since Saturday. After I made my post yesterday, I was planning to start working on some Xmas gifts and cards, but that didn't happen, instead I started putting my Nestabillities in CD cases, then I made dinner, and about 10pm I finally decided to work on those cards. I am glad I pushed myself, as I made 10 of them, which would pretty much take care of my side of the family, as I said earlier, I don't like making all same cards (like 50 same cards), as I become extremely bored LoL, so I like to mix it up, one batch for my side of the family, one for Sean's, one for friends around the world, one for my Philly Inkers etc. So I guess this will be the first finished batch of cards. And today I still haven't kicked my butt to create, in the morning I was playing with my sewing machine, which I got from my mother-in-law when we were over there for Thanksgiving, she didn't know where the user manual was, but I am proud to say I figured it out, maybe because I have used SINGER machine in the past (this one is SINGER too), but that was like 15 years ago, I was still in High School :-o. So now you can expect to see some sewing on my cards :) ANyway, after I was done playing with the sewing machine I went to Michael's and picked up 2 MS punches and some buttons! Ok, I better get going now, I have a LOT of Xmas gift creating to do, and to not forget my hubby's b-day gift, I am so stinkin' late!
