Watercolored Succulents

Hi stampers!
It's the 1st of the month and that means it's time for a new A2zScrapbooking challenge, and this month's challenge is clean and simple. So, that is what I did. I stamped this beautiful potted succulent onto watercolor paper and using my Gansai watercolors I colored, then I cut the image using the coordinating die. For the background, I did some watercolor wash and splattered little drops of color, then stamped with the Grid background using Julep Mint Hero Arts ink pad. The sentiment came from the Balloon animals set.

Skipping Stones Design Stamp and Share Blog Hop

Hi Stampers,

It's that time of the month (the last Friday) when we have our Skipping Stones Design Stamp and Share challenge. This month we have a sketch challenge and below you can see my take on it. I love butterflies, so I used Breathtaking Butterflies set and used the MISTI to perfectly layer the two stamps and then I just cut them out. The inks I used are from Studio Calico (Color Theory) and for the lighter layer I stamped first on scrap piece of paper, then onto my project.
