Hero Arts: Have a Mice Day and a class

Hi stampers!
Happy Wednesday! Today I have super cute card for you that I created for the Hero Arts catalog using the set called Mouse Tea Party.
And if you are local my friend Libby and I are teaching class over at Impressive Ideas on March 2nd (this Friday) and this is one of the cards that we'll be making!
To register for the class call Impressive Ideas at 678-352-0575
To make the card I stamped, then colored and die cut the little images. For the background I used the Butterfly Confetti fancy die. As well I cut out circle from Pool mix layering papers. And stamped the sentiment onto a little black strip of black layering paper with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder.

Hero Arts: Have a Mermarizing Birthday

Hi stampers!
Post #2 for today! Scroll down for my first post and video!
For this  card I used the new Hero Arts Mermaid stamp and cut. I stamped the mermaid and  turtle and colored with alcohol markers. Next I used the mermaid sea waves stencil and White modeling paste to do the background. While it was still wet I applied sparkle embossing powder and let it dry. Once the paste was completely dry I heat set it. In mean time I die cut some of the corals and created my white panel (stamped sentiment and die cut a circle).
I assembled my card and adhered to sea mix folded note card.

Studio Katia: Together we bloom and a video

Hi Stampers!
Happy Tuesday! Today I have an elegant shaker card featuring some Studio Katia Products. As well as video.
Just like yesterday, I am again experimenting with the Arteza cold press watercolor paper, but this time with my Zig clean color real brush markers.
I stamped my images on the watercolor paper few times using my MISTI and then embossed with white embossing powder. Next using my pens I watercolored them and die cut them once I was done. I created my shaker panel using 2 Studio Katia die sets Dotted Balloon and Darling ribbon and dotted frame. I used Neenah metallic paper I picked up at my local target.

Watch the video below how this card came to be and hope you are inspired to create something today (supplies are on the bottom of this post)

MISTI meets Heffy Doodle blog hop and give away

Hi stampers!
Happy Monday! I am back today with couple cards for you using couple Heffy Doodle sets and a video!!! Yes, I am back to doing videos again!!!
When I saw the Hello Squeekheart set from Heffy Doodle I knew I had to have it!  Those little mice are so stinkin' adorable!!! And you got to see the coordinating dies, they have little cut outs for their hands/arms!!!

For my card today I didn't use the dies, as I decided to create a scene using masking. As well I was testing some new watercolor paper (Arteza) and to be honest, I like it, and I like the texture of it, and the weight.
I started by stamping the mice (2nd generation stamping) using pumice stone distress ink, then colored them using my Tombow dual brush pens and Chameleon pencils. I masker them and stamped the cheese. I colored the same way. Created the background using Pumice Stone, Tumbled glass and Evergreen Bough. I finished off the card by stamping the sentiment using Versagfine Clair Nocturne and embossing with ultra fine embossing powder.
Watch the video below to see how this card came to be!

And before I go on, I wanted to let you know that this post is part of a blog hop collaboration between My Sweet Petunia and Heffy Doodle! (scroll down for a list of stops along the hop!)
And we have prizes, too!!!
We will choose two lucky commenters from the hop to win one of two prizes: a $50 shopping spree at and a 25 pound shopping spree at - they must leave their comments no later than Sunday, March 4th, at 11:59 PM Central time and winners will be announced on Tuesday March 6th, on the Heffy Doodle and My Sweet Petunia blogs.

For my second card I used the same principle, just different set and colors ( you don't want gray bear holding yellow heart, right?)

Catherine Pooler Designs: Create Your Own Sunshine

Hi stampers!
Happy Thursday! Today I have a colorful rainbow card using new set from Catherine Pooler Designs called Eat, Sleep, Create.
I started by stamping one of the stripes from the set across white panel and used the new long grid block. After I was done with my rainbow stripes, I stamped "your own sunshine" with Versamark and embossed with White Embossing Powder. Next I stamped Create using the Midnight ink. I trimmed my panel to 3 3/4" x 5 1/2" and adhered to Midnight card stock top folding note card. To finish it off I added some white Nuvo Crystal drops.

Hero Arts: Just because flowering magnolia

Hi everyone!
Happy Tuesday! Today I have an Hero Arts card for you using one of my favorite stamps from the new catalog, the Flowering Magnolia. There is coordinating frame cut for it, which actually I didn't use it for my card as I didn't want the white border around, as I was adhering it to a black card and background.
I stamped the flower on Neenah white card stock and colored with copics. Then I fussy cut the flower out. Next I stamped the background on black layering paper panel and embossed with ultra fine embossing powder. I stamped the sentiment on black strip and embossed with white embossing powder.

I assembled my card and added few drops of Nuvo Crystal Glaze and let it dry before handling the card.

All the supplies are listed at the bottom of this post :)

I have few cards for you today and 2 videos.
For my first set of cards I did some Ombre stamping using my MISTI and different set of colors and used the new Faithful flutterings stamp set. Watch the video below to see how this card came to be.

Next is a card covered in glitter. I used the Stained Glass cover die with adhesive sheet and selectively applied glitter. I did this by selectively removing the backing of the areas I wanted to be covered in the teal glitter and applied the glitter, next I removed the rest of the adhesive backing and applied the diamond glitter. I glittered the Smile die cut in a same way (using adhesive sheet). Watch the video below to see how this card came to be.

Last, but not the least I shared this card last month as a sneak peek, but wanted to show it to you again. I combined Faithful flutterings and the Stained Glass cover die.

First off is the Color Layering Elephant (I used only the outline stamp) and the Flowering Nasturtium wood block stamps. I did some reverse masking and colored with the new liquid watercolors.
Watch the video below, how this card came to be!

Then there is the Color Layering caterpillar set, along with Weird and Wonderful. i had so much fun playing with different colors for the caterpillar.

Then, one of my favorite sets the Color Layering Swan. I did some ink blending on the background using Bubble gum, Orchid and Grape Juice inks, and black and Navy for the water.

Then, there is the Color Layering Swallowtail. I love butterflies, so I had to showcase couple cards using this set today .Again, I played with different color combinations for the butterflies

Another set I LOVEd playing with is the Color Layering Nasturtium. I again played with different color combinations and few different Stamp& Cut sets

Last but not the least is the . House Stamp and Cut. I used Chameleon Pens to color the image and Wallpaper background stamp for the background.
