I think you're amazing - CAS-ual Fridays Challenge

Hi Stampers!
Happy Friday! This is post number 2 for today, so scroll down for the 1st one ;) I know I have been quiet for a week or so, and it's not like I haven't been creating. I do have a video for you that I will post tomorrow. But life happened, I can't get into details at the moment, but it has caused anxiety to what I post on my personal blog. So, I didn't post anything. But things are getting better :)

Now, lets get into the fun stuff. It's Friday, and it's time for another CAS-ual Friday's Challenge and this week ( actually the next two weeks) the Challenge is Gift Tags. So, I used the Bubble Box Fri-dies to create my tag, I used 2 of them and attached them together with some thread.
I used one of my favorite sets for it called Mon Ami. I stamped with Hero Arts Intense black and colored the images using my Chameleon pens, and used the color overlay technique. First I colored with Mellow Yellow pen, then on top I colored with Peony Pink. After I had my base for the tag, I added some Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle and added the sentiment, that I previously stamped on vellum and embossed with white embossing powder.
I hope you are inspired to create something today and play along with the challenge.

Believe - Skipping Stones Design July Challenge

Hi Stampers!

Happy Friday! And it's the last Friday of the month, which means it's time for the Skipping Stone Design challenge.
After a month break we are back and this month the challenge is Summer. You wonder why? Have you seen the weather outside?
And I can't believe that in 1 week school officially starts in our area. My oldest one will start Pre-K , she was already in private pre-K and graduated, but due to her age, she is back in Pre-K lol. We could have tested her if she could go to Kindergarten, but she's not missing the cut off date for a month or 2, but 4. For Kindergarten you need to turn 5 by August and she'll be 5 in December. Oh well, and next year my middle one will be in pre-K, she just made the cut off date because she was born in August. LOL. Anyways....back onto the challenge.

For my card I used one of the Skipping Stones Design new sets called Imagine. I stamped the bird onto watercolor paper with Versamark ink and embossed it with white embossing powder. Then colored it with Daniel Smith watercolors. Then I trimmer it to size for my card front. Stamped the sentiment and embossed with gold embossing powder. I adhered gold glitter paper on the card base, then adhered the stamped panel using dimensionals. To finish up my card I added some sequins and beads.

Head to the Skipping Stones Design blog to see what the rest of the Design Team created for this challenge!

Stretching Your Chameleon Pens - Faux Watercoloring and Faux Vellum Overlay

Hi Stampers!

I am back with the second video in the series Stretching Your Chameleon Pens. In this video I am focusing on the Chameleon Blender pen and I am showing you 2 techniques ( it started with one, but while I was recording I discovered a new one ;)) The techniques I am showing you are faux watercoloring and faux vellum overlay (that's how I named the 2nd technique, watch  the video to discover why I named that technique as Faux Vellum Overlay)

Don't forger to subscribe to my YouTube channel , so you keep up to date with all the videos.

Peace and Joy

Hi Stampers!

Happy Friday! And to celebrate Friday I have little sneak peek of the new Hero Arts Color Layering Cardinal set that is available as part of the Simon Says Stamp Masterpiece box, or you can wait until August to purchase it from your favorite Hero Arts retailer (the best one is A2ZScrapbooking) , or on the Hero Arts website on August 22nd.
I decided to just do a simple card. I stamped the cardinal and the branch onto some rustic cream card stock, die cut the bottom added some retired Stampin' up! patterned paper and voila :)
Come back later for another video in the Series: Stretching your Chameleon Pens

To get your favorite Hero Arts product, head to the A2ZScrapbooking store and use the coupon code "Ilina15" to get 15% discount on your order of $25+
