So I grabbed by abandoned brayer and few of the new Concord and 9th ink pads and created the background. To finish it I added some gold watercolor splatter and brush strokes with the same paint. Let it dry. In meantime I stamped the image and sentiment on vellum and embossed in fold. Adhered to a piece of white card stock. I assembled my card and added some gold sequins.

Hero Arts: United as One

Hi everyone!
Hero Arts, Dana Joy and Pocono Pam are partnering in releasing an amazing stamp set called United as one, and today we are starting the celebration of the  the release of the set along with the new Stamping Village set We Stand With You.
Crafters and cardmakers of color need to feel supported, appreciated and respected. And we need to listen and learn from each other. 100% net profits from this set will go to Racial Justice Charities.
For my card I used the United as one set. Using my MISTI tool I stamped the layering image. I used soft brown to cup o' joe and cup' o joe inks for one of the hands and soft vanilla, soft peach and soft brown for the other one. Once I was done with the layering portion I stamped the outline using Intens-ified black ink.
Stamp hearts using strawberry, soft peach and soft vanilla (to get pale peach tone on the hand and the heart I inked my stamp first in peach and wiped off the ink, next I added the soft vanilla and stamped. Even though I wiped the peach ink there was some residue left than mixed with the vanilla and gave me the desired tone). Trim to 4 " x 5 1/4" and set aside.
Stamp heart and sentiment on another piece of white card stock. Die cut heart using the heart infinity dies. Assembled your panel and adhere to top folding white note card on which you have previously swiped the Peach ink around the edges to create illusion of colored card stock

Picket Fence Studios: July Release is Live!

Hi everyone!
Happy July Picket Fence Studios release day! And it's Christmas in July!
Today I am featuring the Most Wonderful Time of the Year set and the Shading Flower stencil.

Lets get started.
For my first card I started stamping the tree using Moss and Pine inks and my MISTI tool to get multicolored look. Once the ink was dried, using the Life Changing Blending Brushes I added some Soft Sky ink (using masking paper I masked the bottom to create the line between the ground and sky). Next I stamped the second layer of the tree using versamark ink and embossed in twinkle puff embossing powder to give the tree the snowy effect.
Next stamped the sentiment in black and added snowflakes using silver ink!

For my second card I used the Shading Flower stencil, using Pixie Spray I secured it over piece of Bristol paper and ink blended Pool Party, Blue Raspberry, Key Lime Fizz and Green Apple reactive inks. With the stencil still secured I splattered some water. Removed the stencil, trimmed the panel down to 4" x 5 1/4" and stamped sentiment in black,
