Hi Stampers!
Happy Monday! And welcome to another My Monthly Hero release. Hope you are following the blog hop, and if you are already tired and probably overwhelmed from all the beautiful creations so far, but don't worry you are almost to the end. There are only 2 more stops after me, but trust me you don't want to miss them.
The best comes last. Let's take a look at the main kit. This month kit is called "Spoken Bird".
Now, you have probably arrived here from Michelle's blog and if you haven't trust me you don't want to miss her amazing projects. So go back to her blog or start from the beginning(the Hero Arts blog) and if you arrived here from her blog, then you are on the right track and your next stop will be Clare's blog(and you don't want to miss her project, either).
First I am starting with a peek of what I shared over at the Hero Arts blog on Saturday as one of the count down posts. Go over the Hero Arts Blog for more details!
For the next card I used the dies from the kit. I die cut the nest and eggs from white card stock and sponged with Cup O'Joe, Butter Bar and Soft pool inks. I partially applies gold embossing powder and heat set it. I created my background on water color paper using St. Petersburg White Nights watercolors. Stamped the sentiment and embossed in gold. Assembled my card and added some sequins to finish it off.

Now let's move to the projects I created for the hop. The first few use the main kit. For my first one I did some embossing using the new rounded edge rectangle infinity dies (they will be available to purchase next week) and did some ink blending using Soft Vanilla, Butter Bar, Tide Pool and Soft Pool inks. After that I stamped my images using Intense Black and over stamped with Versamark and embossed with the Ultra Fine embossing powder. Added few sequins and adhered to Black note card.
Then, I did some more ink blending, but this time using Grape Juice, Orchid and Cotton Candy. I did the same process for stamping the images as in my previous card. I cut the floral border from black card stock and sprayed with Sparkle spray to add some shimmer to it. Added some Ombre purple sequins and was done.
For the card below I used technique I shared little while ago using background stamps and solid images. You can find it here
For my next card I did ink to paper to create my background, making sure it was nicely saturated. While it was still wet I stamped the background using Versamark and heat set it. After it was completely dry I stamped the images and embossed with white embossing powder. Added sequins and adhered my panel to Snow folded note card.
I used the same technique as my first card. only used different ink colors: Cotton Candy, Orchid and Grape Juice and the "Come Fly With Me" add on set.
Last, but not the least it a card using the Bird Branches fancy die. I die cut it and applied 5 layers of copper embossing powder. I did the same with the congrats. I did some watercolor wash stamped the sentiment and embossed with the same copper embossing powder, then adhered the diecuts and trimmed the edge off. I added some splatter of copper paint. I adhered my panel to Snow folded card.
