A Blog Named Hero 5th Anniversary Bash

Hi Stampers!
Today I'm participating in a fun blog hop with a LOT of give aways celebrating A Blog Named Hero's fifth anniversary, as one of the former design team members (scroll down for details for the give aways)

I made set of cards using the Hero Arts Color Layering Water Lily set and the coordinating dies along with the Birthday Messages stamp set. I used as well the coordinating ink cube set along with the greens collection of ink cubes.
Watch the video below on how these cards came together. And please forgive me for the voice and keep calling the water lily, a watercoloring lily lol. I am still getting over a nasty cold and it was 2am when I was doing the voice over.
The Next stop in the hop is Cindy Chiu, make sure you hop over her blog and leave her some love, too!

A Blog Named Hero is so thankful for our wonderful sponsors and collaborating companies!  Several companies decided to help us celebrate our fifth anniversary with giveaways and they were so generous that we decided to spread the love over both hop days with different prizes to be won each day!  Giveaway prizes total more than $500!  To win, leave a comment on each hop stop.  We will select winners randomly from different blogs so the more blogs you visit each day, the greater your chances of winning!  And be sure to visit the Saturday post from A Blog Named Hero for the list of Saturday hoppers and prizes!  Comments must be left before 11:59 PM EDT on Tuesday, March 28th and winners will be announced on March 30th.

Today's prizes include the following:

I am lucky we're friends

Hi stampers!
I am back again today, I know I have LOTS to share today. This time I have a card for you using the new Concord and 9th  Lucky bundle. To be honest I love how this card turned out. It took some time to make it, but it was worth it. I started with a piece of Bristol vellum card stock and did some ink smooshing using PTI ink cubes: mint julep, aqua mist and tropical teal, next I spritzed with Shimmerz Sparkle spray and smooshed the panel in it, then using the tropical teal ink cube I splattered some of the ink onto the panel, then gold using Finetec Mica watercolors and then some white Distress paint. Next I die cut the lucky sentiments and assembled (pieced everything together). To finish off the card I stamped the sentiments and embossed in gold, then added some brushed god sequins.
Make sure you watch the video below to see how I made this card!
Now head over to Concord and 9th blog and leave Angie and Greg some love!

Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Hi Stampers!

It's another post for today! Today I am taking part of the Coffee Lovers blog hop along with A2ZScrapbooking design team ( A2Z is one of the sponsors of the blog hop - so head over there to check out the links of the rest of the DT creations).
For my card today I used 3 sets from Hero Arts to put together the little "Scene".
I stamped my images onto Arches watercolor paper and then watercolored with Daniel Smith watercolors. I cut down the images and assembled my panel. I added the sentiment and some splatter, then adhered sequins and adhered Floral folded card.
