Blog Candy

The picture is little bright due to the flash.
My hit counter just went nuts and went from 600 to over 800 hits....so I had to hurry and figure out a blog candy, as I promised.
All you need to do is leave a comment and I will use my random function of my MATLAB program generate a random number to determine who is the winner of this blog candy.
It's a lot of 6x6 patterned paper, some ribbon, clear stickers and fabric flowers.

Ribbon Addict

So, here is my little secret, I am ribbon adict. Here are my boxes of ribbon, I believe there is more, lurking somewhere :) I don't think more words are needed, a picture is worth 1000 words :)

Blog Candy

I guess I should figure out some blog candy to give away. Last week I put an hit counter on my blog :) so I can give away blog candy for certain amount of hits.
So stay tuned, I hope to have figured it out before it hits 1000 :)

Thank you cards

I just finished these cards, which I started last night, but didn't get chance to finish until now. As it's been full and fun day today, hanging out with my friend... and when I got home at 6pm I fell asleep. If you like you can purchase set of this cards in my Etsy Store
For these cards I used whisper white, basic black, for matting of the images (bashful blue, regal rose -I think, pumpkin pie, certainly celery) and shimmery white cardstock.
I used Drawing on Nature retired stamp set and Short and Sweet stamp set. I stamped the images on shimmery white cardstock and watercolored it with watercolor pencils and aqua painter and small brush. Then layered it on colored cardstock, then on whisper white, stamped the Thank You saying and mounted it on a black card.

You Moo-ve Me

I have had this chocolate cow filled with little chocolate cows( I wish it was a monkey- and don't ask me why) for a while now, and finally decided to alter it and make a gift for my husband. I made the box and the cover from bashful blue and basic black c/s. I dry embossed it with Fiskars texture plates. Cut the circle with the Fiskars circle cutter, stamped the cows on shimmery white c/s with black staz-on ( I stamped too many cows -28, but used only 9) and colored them with basic black, pretty in pink and regal rose inks. I applied glitter to the pink parts and crystal effects to the black spots on the cows. I adhered them with dimensionals to the box. I stamped You moove me with bashful blue on shimmery white and cut out each letter and glued them with 2 way glue pen....and here is the result

Aletred tin

I found this tin in the dollar store, it was filled with insence sticks, I am allergic to those stuff, but I liked the tin to alter, so I threw the content and altered the tin.

Beate's weekend challenge #31

Here is a card I made for Beate's weekend sketch challenge, believe it or not this is the first card I have made since Friday and on Friday I made only one. I got stuck with school work and found out that my MATLAB (software we use for homeworks for my power el. engineering class) doesn't work properly, and it doesn't give me right answers, so I had to do a lot of marix calculations by hand, so tomorrow morning once I get up, first thing I will do is gonna go buy me a matrix calculator. I don't wanna spend over $100 for a calculator, but gotta do what I gotta do, and from other side I don't want to spend 3 days solving 1 problem, and there are few problems.
Enough rumbling, for this sketch:I used En Pointe stamp set, apricot appeal, basic black and very vanilla cardstock, apricot appeal marker, staz on jet black ink, some flowers I have had for years ( I have no idea where they are from), little gems I got from Joann's the other day, and I dry embossed the apricot appeal cardstock using Fiskars Texture plates . As well I used glitter and crystal effects, I took the picture before the crystal effects were dry, because it's 3am and I should go to bed!

I think I am starting to be addicted to glitter, crystal effects and microbeads, and don't forget the ribbon. Here is a card I made today. School started yesterday, so now I have less time for cards and crafts.

In Full Bloom- edited

I worked today some more on the card. I blended the colors with Gamsol, and then applied crystal effects and clear beads. Under the beads on some spots the glue still looks whitish, cause I didn't wait to dry completely before I took the pictures

In Full Bloom

I got this set today from Kristin, it's retired from the 2006-07 catalog and I really liked it.So, I had to make card tonight. I made three fold card out of kraft cardstock, did a lot of masking and stamping (the image on the bottom left is little messed up :( ) and then I cut with swivel knife, scored folded etc, and on the end I colored with Pure Color pencils. I think I will add some clear microbeads and crystal effects.
