Hero Arts: September My Monthly Hero Reveal, Blog Hop, Giveaway + Video

Hi everyone.
Welcome to the September My Monthly Hero Reveal and Blog hop. I can't believe it's already September?!?!

This month we have another amazing My Monthly Hero Kit from Hero Arts.

Here's the official description of this months kit:
Autumn is a whisper in the air, with hints of cooler weather, falling leaves, and rich colors. Our September My Monthly Hero release takes an elegant path into fall, featuring a gorgeous vase of fall blooms as the focal point for your cards and projects. There’s also a fun new element this month - rub-ons! Use them for quick and easy cards; the coordinating die in the kit perfectly cuts out the rub-on floral arrangement as well as the stamped images. Or try the rub-ons on any smooth surface. The kit is rounded out with a gorgeous new cling stamp, metallic floss and the perfect neutral cardstocks for stamping your autumn-inspired creations.

If you are following the hop you have probably arrived from Emily Midgett's blog and your next stop is Jessica Frost-Ballas.
For my card I made an ink blended background using reactive inks and stamped the background using water to create watermark like image. Next I stamped the image on vellum and embossed in white. Trimmed it down to 3 1/2" x 4 3/4". Added sentiment. You can see how I made this card in the video below (or click HERE )

I also have a card below using couple of the add on products, the Fall Leaves Hot foil plate that I foiled on white card stock using Opal foil and also added flowers and leaves from the Foliage and Flowers Fancy die set.

Kit Contents:
• Clear Stamp Set, 4” x 6”
• 6 Coordinating Frame Cuts
• Rub-On Transfer Sheet
• Cling Background Stamp, 6“ x 6”
• 2 Sheets Each of Cardstock in Sand & Antique Ivory, 5.5” x 8.5”
• Rose Gold Metallic Floss, 5 yds

Hello, Ilina - Your cards are both beautiful. I love the floral arrangement in the urn of card #1 - classic style. Your update w/ the vibrant color blending and white embossing brings this into the modern. I love the second card as well - very autumnal! Thanks for the video... I did not catch the waterstamped / watermarked design from the red rubber background stamp until I watched.
