Hero Arts: March 2022 My Monthly Hero Release, Blog Hop, Giveaway + Video

Hi everyone.
It's new month, and it's time for a new My Monthly Hero kit from Hero Arts.

And...it's another awesome My Monthly Hero Kit from Hero Arts.
Here's the official description of this months kit:

Take a trip to the art museum with the March My Monthly Hero release. The main kit features Abstract Expressionist art in the form of paint splatters. Stamp them with your favorite inks, or to mimic the bold look of acrylic paint, emboss them with the four vibrant embossing powders included in this kit. We've also included paper with the feel of canvas for creating your masterpieces, and the kit is rounded out with a fantastic cover plate die of the art museum patrons gazing at your work of art. Just imagine all the things you can frame with this die!

If you are following the hop you have probably arrived from Emily Midgett 's blog and your next stop is Libby Hickson
Pre-order your kit now, as it is available only until supplies last!!!
For my card today I decided to try to do something artsy and out of my comfort zone. I die cut 4 squares using the Square infinity dies and stacked them together. I covered it with Embossing and Watermark ink and applied white embossing powder. I built up the layers until I got a thick layer of white embossing powder. Once it cooled down I stamped the paint splashes using Reactive inks and melted the embossing powder between each application. Used also a edge of a piece of cardstock to move the embossing around to create more fun effect. Once cooled down, I used Tide Pool Shadow ink and applied over the surface. Re-melted the embossing powder and moved it around with my heat tool.
Once cool again, I stamped the splatters with Embossing and Watermark ink and applied Black Sparkle embossing powder then melted it.
Once cooled I adhered it to a Dove White panel and stamped sentiment underneath.

I will have a video up ASAP.

Me next card used the Art Meowseum set, that I combined with the Museum Frame fancy die to frame the Leonardo Da Vinci's cat ;) and Abstract Frames bold prints to add little bit of subtle interest to my background.

I like the colors on the painting and the framing of the cat.
We are all tempted by natural stone countertops in our kitchen to increase aesthetics. There is no doubt that marble and granite countertops
are expensive and easily stand any stain or exertions, but a minor scratch quickly sabotages their beauty.

Laughing out loud at your Art Meowseum kitty. That is THE BEST! The Museum Frame fancy die was the perfect accent for that fun, playful cat image. Both of your examples are fantastic. What a great kit, and I really enjoyed seeing how you used the elements and add-ons from it.
