Hero Arts: December My Monthly Hero Release, Blog Hop and Video

Hi everyone.
It's time for a new My Monthly Hero kit from Hero Arts.

Another month, another awesome My Monthly Hero Kit from Hero Arts. This month's kit is focused on cities and neighborhoods and it's awesome one (I know I keep saying that)

If you are following the hop you have probably arrived from Emily Midgett 's blog and your next stop is Jessica Frost Ballas.
Pre-order your kit now, as it is available only until supplies last!!!
Here is the official description of this month's kit!!!! It totally reminds me of home!!!

The December My Monthly Hero kit is a reminder that no matter where we live, near or far, in cities or in neighborhoods - through it all we're here for each other. The kit includes a lively cityscape cling background stamp, a beautiful new cover plate die, and a clear stamp set containing useful messages for welcoming new neighbors, or letting friends and family know you are thinking of them. The images in the clear set have coordinating dies as well. Rounding out the kit is our popular Pitch Black cardstock, ink cubes (perfect for blending a gorgeous sunset) and adorable clothespin embellishments.

I had some fun with my gel press and the Hero Arts shadow inks to create my backgrounds using the bold prints rubber stamp that comes in the kit. Watch the video below how you can quickly create a lot of backgrounds using dye inks, gel press and brayer (and your stamps!!!!) and how you can get most of your ink application!
I also used one of my backgrounds as a backdrop for my card below using the add on set and dies called City Park Hero Scapes. I stamped clouds on it using Unicorn White pigment ink and also an airplane using black ink. Then stamped and adhered the elements from the City Park Hero Scapes set.

• 4" x 6" Clear Stamp Set
• 11 Coordinating Frame Cuts
• Fancy Cover Plate Die (4.25" x 5.5")
• City Cling Stamp (6" x 6")
• 4 Sheets of Black Cardstock (5.5" x 8.5")
• 3 Reactive Ink Cubes (Berry Smoothie, Fruit Punch, Lemon Drop)
• 10 Clothespins
