Spellbinders: Tropical Getaway Collection by Susan Tierney-Cockbury

 Hi everyone!

Happy Friday! Hope you are all having a wonderful day! I am home and recovering from my knee surgery I had on Wednesday.

Today I am sharing couple cards using the Spellbinders Tropical Getaway Collection. In particular I am using the new Plumeria and Hibiscus die sets to create three dimensional flowers.

When you go to the Spellbinders website and click on the products, you will notice that there are instructional videos for how to make each of the flowers. Susan explains is very clearly and simply and they are so much fun to put together.

I used PanPastels to color the flowers on both cards, and Copic markers for the leaves. For the leaves on the plumeria I also used Spellbinders glaze to give the waxy look on the leaves.

I also used the new Fluted Rectangle and Circle Dies from the November release to create a backdrop for my flowers on both cards.
