Have you checked the new Be Bold Colorblock dies from SPellbinders? They make it super easy to make super fun cards!!!! And they are also sized to fit Slimline (Christmas one) and A2(Love one), so you just need your cardstock of choice, adhesive and maybe some embellishments.
Here are couple samples I made using these 2 dies!!!
