Hero Arts: October My Monthly Hero Blog Hop, Giveaway + Video

Hi everyone. It's time for a new My Monthly Hero kit from Hero Arts.

And again, Hero Arts never ceases to amaze me with their kits and products. This month's kit is another that you don't want to miss. This month's kit is all about Victorian Christmas The main kit is just amazing,  my favorite is the cover plate die, also that large Christmas Tree.

If you are following the hop you have probably arrived from Emily Midget's blog and your next stop is Jessica Frost-Ballas.
Pre-order your kit now, as it is available only until supplies last!!!

I decided to make a shadow box card using the Window Shop cover die. I die cut it rom Nautical card stock and backed up with another die cut to make it more sturdy. For the back piece I used Dove White card stock and ink blended some Butter Bar Shadow ink.
Stamped the images using Intens-ified black ink and embossed using Ultra fine embossing powder, colored and die cut them. Then assembled my card. Watch the video below to see how this card came to be. (or click HERE)
For my second card I used the Winter Express bold prints. I started with a piece of Artic cardstock and ink blended Navy. Dusty Blue and Cornflower Blue. Once dried, I stamped the background and embossed in white. Then stamped sentiment from Victorian Christmas Messages on Nautical Card stock and embossed in white. Trimmed to a strip and assembled my card.
