Trinity Stamps: Summer Blooms Kit Sneak Peek

Today I over on the Trinity Blog and am sharing a sneak peek of something coming to the Trinity Store on Friday! It's a super fun kit called Summer Blooms. It comes is stamp set, coordinating dies, some gorgeous papers, mini ink cubes and jewels!!!

For my card I decided to do some no line coloring using the Fade out ink cube that comes in the kit and the Atelier ink cubes plus added couple more colors for more color variety.

To make the card start by stamping the image on water color paper. 

Next, using the ink cubes ( I smudge some ink on acrylic block and use it as palette) start coloring the image. Color one section at a time, then move to another that's not touching the one you already colored. I colored first all the orange parts, then green, then pink, then blue. Until you have colored the entire image.

Once done add details using brown precision pen to the blue flowers and more details to the roses using colored pencil. Then die cut the image. Set aside.

Stamp sentiment from Buttercup Blossoms stamp set on black card stock and emboss in white. Trim it to a strip.

Adhere the floral image and sentiment onto piece of patterned paper from the kit (I used pale gray pattern for more subtle look), add few jewels from the kit and adhere to a top folding white note card!
