Hero Arts: July My Monthly Hero Kit Blog Hop, Giveaway + VIDEO

Hi everyone.
It's time for a new My Monthly Hero kit from Hero Arts.

And again, Hero Arts never ceases to amaze me with their kits and products. This month's kit is another that you don't want to miss. It all about gnomes, fairies and fairy tales!!! It's super fun one!

If you are following the hop you have probably arrived from Debi Adams blog and your next stop is Jessica Frost-Ballas.
Pre-order your kit now, as it is available only until supplies last!!!

I have couple cards to share with you an a video for the first one.
For my first card using the main kit I adapted a technique from Jennifer McGuire on creating sparkly acetate sheets, but instead of creating sparkly overlay for my ink blended panel, I decided to laminate my panel with all the sparklines in it. Watch the video below how I did that!!! Once I created my background I stamped, die cut and colored my images using Copic Markers (colors are listed below)
I created frame from Pitch Black card stock and rounded rectangles infinity dies. Added sentiment and voila.
For my second card I used few of the add on products, mainly dies, along with a sentiment from Magical Forest set. (details below)
Copic Markers used:
Leaves (fairy dress): YG11, G20, G21, G24
House+Trunk: E37, E35, E33, E31, E30
Fairy: skin: E000, E00, E11, R30, R32
           hair: E44, E43, E42
          wings: BG000, BG10
Flowers + Fairy dress: R85, R83, R81, BV02, BV00, BV000 + Y02

Kit Contents:
• 6" x 8" Clear Stamp Set
• 18 Coordinating Frame Cuts

• 3 Dye Ink Cubes (Green Hills, Soft Purple, Pale Tomato)
• Mushroom Washi Tape
• Stardust Sequins

Kit Value: $72
Kit Cost: $34.99

To make the next card I stamped the wood grain background on Sand and Mist Cards tock and embossed with Clear embossing powder. I cut out the Fairy Door from both. I cut the door in strips from the Mist card stock and ink blended Pool Party reactive ink along the edges, then adhered on top of the Sand one. I die cut the hinges, windows, handle from Chestnut card stock, also the inside of the windows from Canary card stock. Added Canary panel behind the sand one. Added the window frames, hinges etc. Added Lacquer Pen and set it aside to dry.
In meantime I die cut the Branches Infinity dies from Kiwi cardstock and ink blended Green Apple reactive ink around the edges. Also die cut the Mushrooms and Ferns from Antique Ivory, Peony and Meadow card stock. Ink blended Green Apple reactive ink, Pale Tomato and Wet Cement Shadow inks. Assembled them and added to my panel. To finish it off I stamped sentiment on Pitch Black card stock and embossed in white. Added to the panel and adhered the panel to a top folding white note card.

Giveaway: Hero Arts will give away one $50 gift card, drawn from the comments left across the hop. Enter by Sunday, July 11th at 11:59pm Pacific, and the winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the following week.

I just went back and watched the video. I enjoyed watching your lamination technique and have the same laminator, so I might give that a try!! Thanks!

Just gorgeous cards Ilina. They take me back to my childhood and love of Fairytales. Thanks so much for the great inspiration! Stay safe! :)
Wonderful use of the door die. Will need to watch video since I cannot figure out how you got both sides of doors open unless you used the left for both and flipped one.

Very beautiful. I bought the copic marker set B but none of the colors that you have listed are in this set. Can you advise which set I could be to help me? So many of the youtube videos show the markers that I don't have
