Happy Monday!
It's time for a new My Monthly Hero kit from Hero Arts.
And again, Hero Arts never ceases to amaze me with their kits and products. This month's kit is another that you don't want to miss. It all about birthdays, celebration and cute cats and dogs!
If you are following the hop you have probably arrived from Emily Midgett's blog and your next stop is Jessica Frost-Ballas.
I have couple cards for you today using the main kit and also some of the add ons (POP UP CAKE DIE!!!!)
I have video for both coming shortly as soon as I resolve my technical difficulties.
For my first card I decided to go with a shaker card filled with the round clay sprinkles that come in the kit! I stamped, colored and die cut the images. Then created frame from Mist cardstock and stamped the little bod paw using embossing and watermark ink. For the background inside the shaker card I decided to stamp the Birthday Balloons Bold prints using Soft Granite ink (so it's not distracting with all the colorful sprinkles inside).
Then I have a card using the Cake Pop Up die! It's so easy to create the pop-up element inside the card. Once I die cut it from white card stock, I die cut it from bright colored cardstock and pieced it together. I created the same cake for the card front. Also I die cut Celebrate from the Birthday Stamp and Cut XL set three times from Pitch Black card stock, stacked them up and adhered to my panel. The card base was made from Azalea cardstock. Inside I stamped the sentiments using Ultra Pink Shadow Ink and Pool Party Reactive ink.
Again, videos coming shortly.
