Hi everyone!
Happy Tuesday! Hope you are having a great
start of the week.
Today I am sharing a super fun and bright card using the
Oopsy Daisy set from Scrappy Tails and the coordinating dies from the March release.
The layout was inspired by a card I saw online, I am not sure of the maker or the card, but I am thankful for the inspiration.
To make the card start by stamping the daisy image three
times and three of the bees on white card stock that is alcohol marker friendly
using alcohol marker friendly black ink. (I will be using alcohol markers to
color the images, but you can use any color medium of your choice. If you use
watercolors stamp on your choice of watercolor paper and use waterproof ink)
Cut each image into a hexagon that is equal in size and
color using alcohol-based markers. Color the bees and die cut them. Add shimmer
pen on the wings. Set aside.
Stamp sentiment using Versamark ink onto Paradise colored
card stock and emboss using white embossing powder. Cut it into a hexagon the
same size as the images.
Now it’s time to start assembling the card. Cut a panel from
yellow card stock measuring 4” x 5 ¼” ( I have pre-treated my panel using
background piercing die for little bit more interest. You can use embossing
folder, too, or nothing at all). Using foam tape arrange the hexagons. Adhere
the bees. Add few white pearls for added interest.
Using craft foam adhere the panel to a top folding white
note card.
