Hero Arts: April My Monthly Hero Kit Blog Hop + Giveaway + VIDEO

Happy Monday!

It's time for a new My Monthly Hero kit from Hero Arts.

And again, Hero Arts never ceases to amaze me with their kits and products. This month's kit is another that you don't want to miss. It's all a super fun, funky and has pretty neat more modern graphic images

If you are following the hop you have probably arrived from Emily Midgett's blog and your next stop is Jessica Frost-Ballas.

Today I decided to make set of mini slimline cards using the layering stencils from the kit. For the first layer I used dye ink pads (soft granite, tide pool and cotton candy) and as second layer I added some glitter paste.

The images were stamped with Reactive inks and die cut using the coordinating dies that come in the kit. For the sentiments I used Pitch Black cardstock, Embossing and Watermark clear ink and Detailed White Embossing powder.

Watch the video below to see how this card came to be.

Kit Contents:
• 6” x 8” Clear Stamp Set
• 16 Coordinating Frame Cuts
• 3 Geometric Rotating Stencils

• 3 Ink Cubes (Tangerine, Grape Juice, Raspberry Jam)
• 1 Ink Blending Brush

Kit Value: $83
Kit Cost: $34.99
GIVEAWAY: We will give away one $50 gift card, drawn from the comments left across the hop. Enter by Sunday, April 11th at 11:59pm pacific, and the winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the following week.

Hi, Ilina - My big takeaway from your site / your cards (they're FANTASTIC!) is that the background can be classy and interesting and superb WITHOUT taking over the show from the critters. I love all of your cards and particularly like the grey / neutral background cards.
