Hero Arts: March My Monthly Hero Countdown to Creativity

 Hi everyone!

Happy Friday! Today we are starting with the March My Monthly Hero Sneak peeks! And it's another amazing kit! It's no secret that I love all of them.

I love all the images in this kit and this months theme is Reading/Books/Literacy. And it's awesome collection.

The kit goes live on Monday, March 8th at 10am PST/1pm EST.
To make my card I started by cutting a mask using the rounded rectangles infinity dies and the image of the boy reading. I applied the outside mask from the rectangle and then the image one and ink blended the "opening" using the reactive ombre ink that comes in the kit. I used 3 of the colors. Once I was happy, splashed some water and let it dry. Next I removed the masks and stamped the image using Intens-ified black ink in the space that was masked. I colored him using my Copic markers. Once done I stamped the little background stamp using Embossing and Watermark ink, then I shifted the panel in my MISTI for a little smidge and stamped it again using Unicorn Craft ink. To finish it off I stamped the sentiment in black and adhered to a Top Folding black note card I made from Pitch black cardstock

Lovely card. The background stamp exemplifies all the adventure that is pouring out of the book that the boy is reading so intently.
