Hero Arts: March My Monthly Hero Release, Blog Hop, Giveaway + Video

Happy Monday!

It's time for a new My Monthly Hero kit from Hero Arts.

And again, Hero Arts never ceases to amaze me with their kits and products. This month's kit is another that you don't want to miss. It's all about books and reading.

If you are following the hop you have probably arrived from Emily Midgett's blog and your next stop is Jessica Frost-Ballas.

For my card today I decided to pull out my gel press and create some backgrounds using the Ombre Reactive ink that comes in the kit. I picked one of them and stamped one of the background stamps and embossed using sparkle embossing powder to create subtle background. I die cut it using the rounded rectangle infinity dies. Added my images that I stamped on white cardstock and colored with Copic markers and a sentiment that I embossed in white on Pitch black cardstock.

Watch the video below to see how this card came to be.

Kit Contents:
6" x 8" Clear Stamp Set
7 Coordinating Frame Cuts
Reactive Palette Ink Pad
Water Flow Brush
6 Bookmarks, Pure White Cardstock
Rainbow Hemp Cord, 6 meters

Kit Value: $73
Kit Cost: $34.99
GIVEAWAY: Hero Arts is giving away one $50 gift card, drawn from the comments left across the hop. Enter by Sunday, March 14th at 11:59pm pacific, and the winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the following week.

Special Guests: Nichol Spohr
