Hi everyone!
Happy Monday and Happy New Year (again!). Today is the first Monday of the Month which means it's time for new My Monthly Hero kit from Hero Arts.
And again, Hero Arts never ceases to amaze me with their kits and products. This month's kit is another that you don't want to miss. It has this amazingly pretty large floral image and adorable chubby bees!!! It's perfect for coloring or just embossing on colored card stock. I am showing you both options below!
If you are following the hop you have probably arrived from Emily Midgett's blog and your next stop is Jessica Frost-Ballas.
For my projects today I decided to show you non coloring option (scroll down) and coloring option to use the kit. The cards are not in order of how I created them ;) I will have video for all of them shortly (2 separate videos).
For my first set of 3 cards I stamped all the images from the set of watercolor paper and embossed in clear embossing powder. Next I colored them with Karin markers and die cut them. I had some images left so I created 2 additional cards (how I ended up with 3)
Next are bunch of cards where I wanted to show you that you can also use this kit to make quick and easy cards with no coloring involved. I stamped couple of the images and a sentiment on different colors of card stock and them embossed using Detail White embossing powder (or gold sparkle). Added some ink in the center of the flowers using sponge dauber, added enamel dots or gems and shimmer pen to the flowers and bees' wings and added to note cards. Super quick and easy, within an hour I had like 15 cards done!
