For my card I used the Dragons and Unicorns stamp set along with the coordinating dies and of course EZ lights. You don't need electrical engineering degree to make light up card ( and don't get scared that I do have one ;)) The EZ lights from Pear Blossom Press make making light up cards breeze. They come pre-wired and ready to use, you just need to tape them on the back of your card!
To make the card stamp your images on watercolor paper, color and cut them out. Cut a piece of white card stock 4" x 5 1/4" and ink blend Pool Party reactive ink. Splash with some water to create some dots and more texture on the background.
Position where you would like your images to go and the sentiment. Stamp the sentiment. Next poke little holes behind the images that you would like to light up. Now you can add the lights. You can use any tape, I used blue so you can see it on the photos. secure the lights behind the little holes, or you can even push them through them. Tape the wires down. Secure the battery pack where you would like the card to be pressed to light up. I usually do it on the bottom right corner. Once it's all secured add foam tape. I added 2 layers to make space for the battery pack so it's not squished and pressed all the time. Once the tape is applied, remove the backing and adhere another piece of card stock on top to cover the wires and lights. Now you can adhere this assembly to a note card. Add some enamel dots and you are DONE!!! Scroll down to see more photos of the process!!!
