Hi everyone!
Happy Friday! Today we are starting with the October My Monthly Hero Sneak peeks! And I am just loving this month's kit! It's no secret that I love all of them.
This month is all about winter and Christmas and the theme is Nordic/Scandinavian and I am loving it
So, we’re counting down to the release of the new Hero Arts October My Monthly Hero Card kit! The kit goes live on Monday, October 5th at 10am PST/1pm EST.For my project today I used the ornament and created a paper ornament that detaches from the card and you can hang it up on your tree.
To make the ornament start bu stamping the ornament on Arctic cardstock and emboss using the white sparkle embossing powder from the kit, stamp another one and emboss using silver sparkle embossing powder, cut off the hanger only.
Cut several ornaments from Dove white cardstock and one without the center cutout. Adhere all of the die cuts together.
Ink blend Navy, Blue Hawaii and Splash on the last piece (the one without the hole), splash some water and white iridescent shimmer spray and let it dry.
In meantime stamp the deer and tree using Cup O'Joe and Forest Green inks and die cut them.
Once the ink blended piece is dry, stamp the branches and emboss in white sparkle.Adhere on the back of the ornament to create the backing. Adhere the deer and tree.
Cut white panel measuring 4" x 5 1/4" and stamp sentiment using Blue Hawaii ink. Punch two holes where the top of the ornament would be. Thread some twine and attach the ornament. Adhere to Nautical card base :)
