Hero Arts: September My Monthly Hero Sneak Peek!

Happy Saturday. I am sorry it's been quiet on my blog this week, it's been really busy with work, virtual schooling for 3 little ones and physical therapy on top of it all. 

But I am here and today  we’re counting down to the release of the new Hero Arts September My Monthly Hero Card kit! The kit goes live on Tuesday, September 8th at 10am PST/1pm EST

There is an amazing HeroScapes set in the kit, perfect for Fall and Halloween. I used my MISTI to stamp the scene. I started with the first layer in Key Lime Fizz Reactive ink, next I stamped the 3rd layer (pumpkins) using Creamsicle Reactive ink, then went back to the 2nd layer and used Green Apple , then Really Rust for the 4th layer. Once I was done with the pumpkin patch/field I masked it and ink blended Butter Bar and Tide Pool shadow inks to create the sky, then stamped the birds in black.

On separate piece of card stock I stamped the scarecrow using Autumn Ombre ink and die cut him using the coordinating die that comes in the kit.

To assemble the card I took a top folding note card and trimmed 1 1/2" from the bottom, then about 1 3/4" from the top. Discard the piece from the middle. Using scoring tool and bone folder score 2 lines on each side of the "opening" to add little more interest. Adhere the stamped panel on the back side and reconnect the bottom piece from the note card by lining it up with the back of the note card and adhering onto the stamped panel.

Stamp the sentiment in black and you are done!
