Hi everyone!
Another day, another blog hop ;) Today the Hero Team is hopping celebrating the new Unity release. These products were released in with the Winter Catalog, but they deserve a special blog hop and a giveaway.
There are 4 products released (all are linked at the bottom of this post): Kids United set and frame cuts, Power to the People set and Hands of Hope fancy die.
If you are following the hop you have probably arrived from Daniel's blog and your next stop is Lydia Fiedler
The full hop list is on the bottom of this post too!
I have two cards! The first one features the Kids United set and dies. To make the card start by stamping the image on Dove white cardstock using Intens-ified black ink. Color with alcohol markers (I used Copics) and die cut. Cut two pieces of Dove white card stock measuring 4" x 5 1/4". Die cut the second to the large heart from the Hearts infinity dies from one. For the second one use Lemon drop, Splash and Pool Party reactive inks and do some ink blending. Splatter some water.
Stamp the sentiment on black card stock and emboss in white. Trim around it. Assemble your card.
GIVEAWAY:Hero Arts will give away a $50 gift card, drawn from the comments left across the hop. Enter by leaving a comment between now and Sunday, September 6th at 11:59pm Pacific, and the winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the following week.

I love how simple yet powerful the cards are. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI love the card with the kids on a swing image. It really illustrates the concept of friendship.
ReplyDeleteI lived on various Air Force bases until I was a teenager, and the prejudice I absorbed was officer vs enlisted - skin color was not a factor. So when we lived off base for the first time ever, I did not understand why some people were prejudiced about what color a person's skin was.
Your colors and coloring are so pretty!! I love how clean and simple your cards are, the art work and sentiments are really allowed to shine!
ReplyDeleteNice framing of the swing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, inspiring cards, Ilina-- showing the openness of children, and strength in diversity. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. I love that you can use it any time ~ birthday, get well, just because... It's wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards with such an awesome message!
ReplyDeleteThose little girls are so sweet. I especially like how you did the little black girl's hair. Braids and black hair can be a little difficult for me to color without turning them into either a black blob or grey hair, so this is a great reference. And that second card is pure CAS beauty.
ReplyDeleteTwo fabulous cards! I love the first one; it is so beautiful! Love the colors in the background and how you have the die cut image inside and outside the frame; it looks really cool!
ReplyDeleteAnother two wonderful cards
ReplyDeleteLove your cards and the great messages of kindness and friendship! Wonderful coloring! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHi Ilina :) Both of your cards are a delightful showcasing of this new release!!! Way to go! Thanks for inspiring me :)
