Picket Fence Studios and My Sweet Petunia Collaboration and Giveaway

Hi everyone!
Happy Saturday. Today we are hopping celebrating Picket Fence Studios and My Sweet Petunia.
I hope you enjoys all the stops along the way (blog hop list on the bottom) and we leave you with lots of inspiration and ideas.

For my card I decided to use To the Lovely Couple set along with Fancy Sentiments. I started by stamping the cake in Amalgam Warm Glow ink using my Original MISTI. Once stamped I colored with copics. Then I put it back in the MISTI and stamped over with versamark and embossed with Copper Metallic Sparkle embossing powder. Masked the cake and stamped the sentiment and embossed with the same embossing powder.
The reason I didn't stamp and emboss first is that the embossing powder contains glitter and can mess up your markers. Here's where the MISTI comes to save the day!!!! I trimmed the panel added Irish Coffee sequins and adhered to Chestnut card base and added a piece of copper washi tape as an accent.

PRIZE: Both My Sweet Petunia and Picket Fence Studios has giveaways: $50 gift certificates (one each, two separate prizes). Winners will be picked from all comments across all blogs and will be announced on June 2nd.

Wonderful card. The Misti does
make off-centered cards so much
easier - especially when you
want to add more details.

Being able to put cards back into a MISTI to add embossing flair is huge! I hope I can mimic your technique in this someday when I'm able to get a MISTI. Thanks.
