Welcome to the March My Monthly Hero release blog hop. This is yet another kit you don't want to miss!!!
The inspiration for the HeroScape in this month's kit is Japan, which features a serene zen garden and flowering cherry tree, complete with pagodas. Included in the kit are five ink cubes for stamping your scene, as well as a selection of the Hero Hues Premium Cardstock.
For this release I got carried away stamping the tree tops in all different colors and ended up making bunch of cards.
Watch the video below (or click HERE) if it's show unavailable rest assured coming soon, due to the large size it's taking forever to finish processing.....warning it's 35 minutes, but I show you how to make all the cards I am featuring today)
My first 2 cards are shadow box cards that fit in A2 size envelopes inspired by a tutorial from Jennifer McGuire from 1-2 years ago. I thought the trees would make perfect scene for those type of cards.
All the ink colors I used are listed at the bottom of this post!
Kit Contents:
• 6" x 8" Clear Stamp Set
• 5 Coordinating Frame Cuts
• 5 Ink Cubes (Green Hills, Field Greens, Dusty Blue, Rose Madder, Cotton Candy)
• 6 5.5"x 8.5" Sheets of Cardstock (2 each of Peony, Kiwi and Mist)
• Pink Puff Embossing Powder 0.5 oz.
Kit Value: $70
Kit Cost: $34.99
Next, I made ink blended sky cards using Summer Sky Hybrid ink and used pink (red/coral for the second one), blue and yellow colored trees.
Then we have night sky made using Navy Shadow ink and Grape Slush and Blue Hawaii Reactive inks.
I ended up with a lot of elements left over so made bunch of quick and easy cards to have on hand to send to friends and family.

You used a nice combination of colors. The blue and pink shadow box really stood out to me.
Take care,
