Now lets take a look at couple ideas.
First is a sneak of a card I had over the Hero Arts blog as part of the countdown on Saturday
Next is a card that's seems fairly simple on the outside, but has an interactive element in the middle. A Pop up aquarium.
To make the card I started with 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panel of Dove White card stock to create the water using the reactive inks that come in the kit. Next I cut two Aquarium fancy dies and adhered them together to create more dimensional look. Stamped the fish and other sea creatures using Neon inks, added eyes with black pen and created my card front.
Now let's take a look on the inside. To make the aquarium pop up I cut two pieces of Dove White card stock measuring 4 1/4" x 6" and die cut only the middle part of the aquarium (without the frame). For the second piece I cut the edges closed to the frame. the longer piece I scored at 1/4" on each side, and then at 3".
I added 4 clear strings on the back of the longer piece and adhered the shorter piece on the back, so the strings are sandwiched in between.
On the inside of the card I masked the middle area t 2 1/4" from the center of each side and ink blended the reactive inks.
I adhered the different sea creatures on the strings in on the card base. I added string adhesive tape on the tabs I created on the die cut and adhered along the masked lines. I closed the card to make sure it closed nicely.
Here's how it looks inside.
