Impression Obsession: Sending Hugs

Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday and welcome to another Impression Obsession challenge. The challenge today (and for the next 2 weeks )is "Sending hugs".

For my card today I decided to use the Peony Tree stamp along with the Hugs die.

I started with a panel of Arches Cold press watercolor paper and stamped the image using my MISTI and Versamark ink few times, until I got even coverage of the ink. Next I embossed with Clear Embossing power and watercolored it using liquid watercolors.

I die cut hugs 3 times from black card stock and stacked the die cuts together. 

Trimmed the watercolored panel down to 3 3/4" x 5" adhered to top folding note card using fun foam and adhered the die cut. Voila ;)
