Hi stampers!
Happy Monday!
I am so excited to be participating in the first I Care Blog Hope to benefit the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline on World Suicide Prevention Day 2018!!
Joanne Soukup of Perky Penny Paper Arts©, in collaboration with Simon Says Stamp©, organized this blog hop to raise money and awareness for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and World Suicide Prevention Day. When she contacted me, I knew right away that I wanted to join in!
For information on the blog hop, the I Care Stamp set, and the wonderful ways you can help read her post here.
As, when it comes to suicide, the picture of an older man jumping off the stone bridge in Skopje, Macedonia (where I grew up) will never fade away. My friend and I were just sitting in the city square and watching toward the bridge and the river chatting. And at once we saw someone flying down, directly on the concrete column of the bridge. We were still in Middle school.
Few years later, our neighbor who lived on the same floor with me in our condo building attempted to take his own life by jumping off the balcony of their condo (4th floor).
You never know what's going through someone's mind and what they are going through....
For my card today I used the set and some Catherine Pooler inks to stamp the heart images to create a circle. Next I stamped the sentiment "You are strong" in the middle. On the back of my card I stamped the NSPL phone stamp.
Joanne has all of the links on her blog, so please visit her blog to see everyone’s amazing creations, read their personal stories, and donate by ordering the I Care Stamps set from Simon Says Stamp©. “
