Pink and Main: Sending hugs

Hi everyone, I am back again today.
I am blogging over at Pink and Main, too and featuring the Pattern Maker stamp set. I used it to create my own patterned paper in warm colors. To make the card I started with a panel of white card stock and stamped the stripes repetitively using the following surface inks: Street Light, Salon, Rose Garden, Construction and Boutique. Once I was done with the pattern I trimmed my piece down to 2" x 4" and set it aside. In mean time I die cut the Hugs die from cream shimmer card stock, and using shimmer spray, sprayed 4" x 5 1/4" piece of black card stock.

Next, I stamped the "Sending" sentiment from the Hugs Needed stamp set and adhered the die cut. I assembled the whole card onto black note card and added some sequins to finish it off. I love how the warm and bright colors look on the black card stock and all the shimmer on it.

Thank you so much for stopping by and hope you are inspired to create something today.
