Pink and Main: Hope You Are Feline Better

Hi everyone!
I am up on the Pink and Main blog today with a cute card using the new, fresh off the press set called Catitude and the coordinating dies. This set contains six very cute cat images and I had a hard time deciding which one I was going to use, along with the cat images, there are six sentiments and two hearts (one solid and one outline). To make my card I started by stamping one of the cat images onto white card stock with alcohol marker friendly ink. I colored it with copics (E30, E31, E33, E34, E35 and E37, along with R21) and die cut it. Set it aside. Cut 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of white card stock and using ink blending tool and the new Skyscraper Surface ink blend in very gently where the cat would be.

Trim the panel under an angle. Stamp the sentiment to the right and make sure it's parallel with the angled edge. You can use MISTI tool or acrylic block with a grid. The grid helps tremendously when trying to line up sentiments. Cut thin strip of Navy card stock. Set it aside. Create a top folding note card from white card stock ( cut 4 1/4" x 11" piece of card stock and score and fold at 5 1/2"). Trim 2-2 1/2"x 4 1/4" piece of patterned paper from the Be Brave paper pack and adhere to the bottom of the note card. Adhere the panel that you did the ink blending lining it up with the top edge. (You need to make sure that when the patterned paper and the angled panel are adhered onto the note card there are no gaps, i.e. they overlap)
.
Adhere the cat using foam dots. Adhere the Navy strip on the edge between the panel and the patterned paper to make it more defined. To finish off your card add some Silver Glossy dots!
