Hi stampers!
Today I’m hopping along with some crafty friends, sharing projects using “New” product that have been just sitting around, or that are new new. I decided to break our my alcohol inks that I have been collecting for a while along with some Deco Foil. I have been wanting to try this technique for a while now and this hop was a perfect timing. As well I used a die set that I have had for a little while but haven't used it yet. So .... perfect timing.
To make the card you will need some Yupo paper (I used translucent Yupo, but made bunch of other backgrounds using heavy weight yupo, so you can use any Yupo paper you like), alcohol inks of your choice, alcohol blending solution and deco foil.
Start by applying the ink to your Yupo paper, then add some blending solution, move the paper around to make the ink move and blend. Move and dry the ink using heat tool (be careful to not over heat, it's best to dry with the heat tool further away from the paper). Apply Deco Foil on the sticky parts of the ink.
I decided I wanted little bit more movement to my background, so I added more ink and blending solution and dried it with my heat tool, then applied more foil.
Adhere the background to top folding note card (I used vellum adhesive)
Die cut the elements from Gold Foil card stock and adhere to the card.
Watch the video below to see how this card came to be :)
