Catherine Pooler Designs Wild and Wonderful Release Blog Hop - Day 3

Hi Stampers!
Welcome to Day #3 of the Catherine Pooler's new release! The new Wild and Wonderful release is now LIVE in Catherine Pooler’s online store. This release consists of couple new inks, new stamp sets (with available coordinating dies),  two background stamps, and two stand alone butterfly dies.
Since there are so many new items, check out What’s New section in Catherine’s store to find the new items this release.
You should have arrived here from Melissa's blog, but if you didn’t, you can find the whole blog hop list at the bottom of this post.
And since I am the last stop in the hop, you can go back to Catherine's blog if you didn't start from the beginning.

PRIZES: To celebrate the new release Catherine is so awesome and 5 random winners chosen to receive two free ink pads (and free shipping!)  Announced Friday, May 25.

All supplies and overview of the release are at the bottom of this post!

For the first card today, I used the Wonderful Wildflower set, along with the Kaleidoscope background stamp. To make the card, you will want to start by stamping the images from the set on white card stock using the Midnight ink pad. Once stamped color them with Copic markers or any other alcohol based markers of choice. Cut them out, then using black brush pen, such as Copic go over the edges to mask off the white card stock, so it would blend nicely with the black background. Set them aside.
For the background, stamp the image onto Midnight card stock with Versamark and emboss with White embossing powder. Trim down to 4" x 5 1/4".
Die cut the Hello die from white card stock and fun foam, adhere them together and apply shimmer pen. Assemble your card and you're done :)

For my second card today I used two sets: Focus on the Good and Note of Thanks. To make the card you will want to start by stamping the images from the set on white card stock using Midnight ink, next you will stamp the 2nd step images using the following inks: Limoncello, Be mine, All that jazz, Lime rickey. Die cut them using the coordinating dies. Set them aside.
Make a top folding note card using Premium white card stock and trim the bottom of the front side. Adhere Black Tie Gala paper on the back. Next, you can stamp the sentiment using Midnight ink, adhere the flowers and leaves and you are done ;)

Love the white design on the black in
the first card. The flowers ground
the card. The diagonal cut on the
second card is a fun idea.

Gorgeous cards, Ilina! I love how you used the Black Tie Gala paper on your second card. The black just makes the colors of the flowers pop even more.
Both of these cards are stunning! The black and white on the first card is gorgeous, then the bright flowers is such a great combination. Of course, you used my personal favorite "hello" die (one of the most used dies in my collection)! I'm so glad you used that particular pattern from the Black Tie Gala paper. It's the one I have left because I thought it was too bold! Opps - that's obviously the point! I'll be using that now for sure! Thanks for sharing your creativity and talent with us!!
