Joy Clair and MISTI collaboration month: Happy Birthday

Hi everyone!

I am back with another post for today. March was a month of collaboration with Joy Clair and My Sweet Petunia. and we are showcasing projects using both companies products.

Plus if you leave a comment whenever you see this banner you will be entered  to win our prizes: 2 $25 Joy Clair Gift certificates and one MISTI - your choice of original or mini. Winners will be announced in April on both blogs.

For my card today I used the set called Paisley Bouquet. I used my MISTI to stamp it symmetrically on the top and bottom of my card.  I used Versafine Clair, then embossed with Ultra fine embossing powder. Stamped the sentiment in the center and again embossed with Ultra Fine Clear embossing powder. Adhered to a black top folding note card and added pink Nuvo drops as finishing touch.
Originally I was going to color the images, but after I stamped them I really liked the black and white effect, so I let them be (meaning uncolored :))

Beautiful design from this Paisley Bouquet set! I love the b&w card you created! The MISTI would come in handy for stamping this and getting it placed symmetrically! Love the pink embellishments!

Oooh Ilina, I love this Paisley image and it looks amazing with just the pink Nuvo drops for a touch of colour. Very nice look for sure, well done.

WOW ! This is a fantastic card, very elegant ! I'll remember this idea as I've some "older" person who don't like cards too "fancies" or too colorful. It's not always easy to stop with the embellishments and the sparkles - LOL ! Thank you for sharing.
