Now let's move to the projects I have for you today. First I wanted to introduce you to the new 8 ink colors for this release. The Zen collection: Polished, Shea butter, Seafoam, Spruce, Skylight, Stone Blue, Sugared Lavender and Rose Petals.
And they fit perfectly with previously released Paradise Found 8 colors. All these colors are from the SPA collection, which compared to the Party Collection has more muted colors, but still greatly pigmented!
For my first card I used the Zen feathers set and stamped the background using: Aquatini, Green Tea, Spruce, Eucalyptus, Royal Treatment, Rose Petals, Sauna, Shea butter and Sugared Lavender. I die cut the create die 3 times from Midnight card stock, and embossed the top layer 3 times with clear embossing powder. Adhered the die cuts together and then onto my card. I stamped "sunshine" from the "Eat, Sleep, Create" set on Midnight card stock and embossed with white embossing powder. I assembled my panel and adhered to a card base made from Midnight card stock.
For my next card I used the Chevron Cheer set along with the Ovals and Flowers dies. I used the Split Chevron stencil to do some dry embossing on the background to give it a subtle look. It may be little hard to tell on the pictures due to being a white background, but it;s there. I used Polished Stone, Green Tea, Sauna and Shea Butter to ink up the flower and leaves die cuts.
Next, I used the stencil again on Mirror card stock, but this time I applied Transfer Gel from Therm-o-web and when it was dry I run it through my Minc Machine using Opal Deco Foil. Next I stamped sentiment from Zen Feathers on vellum and embossed with white embossing powder. Die cut it and assembled my card.
And the stencil strikes again. Now I used it with white sparkle embossing paste onto Catherine Pooler's premium white card stock. White it was drying I stamped different sentiment from Zen Feathers set on Vellum and embossed with white. I die cut it using circle dies and layered onto PTI's Berry Sorbet card stock. I added some silver thread, iridescent confetti and adhered to coordinating top folding card base.
Last, but not the least I made 3 coordinating cards using the feather stamp from Zen Feather set and few of the new ink colors. I used the MISTI to stamp them symmetrically. I used Polished stone, Seafoam, Skylight and Sugared Lavender. I used the same colors to ink up the edges of my card bases to create coordinating colored card stock.

on the first card; it's gorgeous. All of your
cards are beautiful.
I love the first background that you created, it shows how well all the different ink collection work so well together.
The chevron stencil is so simple but there are so many different techniques to use wth it. I love the foiled look, so pretty
Thank you for sharing your beautiful cards!
Over your card, and the colors! I'm infatuated with these inks. I really want to try some soon!
