I love creating for Valentine, and since it's February it's our anniversary month (we'll be celebrating out lucky 13th this year). With each SOA being released I keep saying it's my favorite one, I guess they are all my favorites and they keep getting better and better. Pair it up with the amazing Catherine Pooler designs inks and you have cards for the win.
Now lets move onto the cards. For my first card I used the Happiness Enclosed, Love is the Air and Bon Voyage sets. I drew a heart with a pencil onto my panel. Then filled the heart with heart stamped images from Happiness Enclosed and Love is in the Air sets. I started from the largest and moved to the smallest hearts. After that I filled the smallest empty areas with dots (used coordinating marker colors for those). When I was satisfied with my image and made sure my image was dry I erased the pencil line. Stamped sentiment on Midnight card stock and embossed with white embossing powder. Assembled my card and adhered onto Midnight card base.
For the Second Card I used The World Awaits and Love is in the air stamps and dies. I die cut the clouds from vellum. Stamped the hot air balloons and die cut them. On white panel I stamped the sentiment in Midnight ink. I adhered the clouds and hot air balloons and added Nuvo drops in coordinating colors. After it was dry I adhered the panel onto white top folding card.
