Hi stampers!
I am so sorry I have been quiet the past few days. I was busy making my kids' Valentines and as well I had a 10K race on Sunday. I actually placed 2nd in my age category lol. There was not much competition like in other races, so it was easy "placement".
I have my kids' valentines below, but before I move onto those and my cards for today, I just wanted to give you heads up that Hero Arts new catalog goodies are available on the Hero Arts website. The new release is AMAZING!

Now onto the Valentine's, since I was finishing them up until 1am last night (and today is work day) I didn't get good pictures. I just snapped the pictures with my phone. These are Anna's (she's 5) and I used the February My Paper Pumpkin Kit to make them.
For Milena's (she's 3) I used Love you to pieces: fox and airplane sets from Papertrey Ink , and for Jason's (he turned 2 yesterday) I used Lawn Fawn and kept them VERY simple since it was like 12.30am when I made them.
And now onto the cards. I have couple cards using Impression Obsession stamps for you today. The two clear stamp sets I used were designed by Dina Kowal. She's amazing. The first one up uses the set called His Child, and I love how it turned out with the heart splatter stamp in the background and the simplicity of it.
Next is the card using the Bridge set. I discovered a cool effect by accident while making this card and I will post a video soon. But if you look closely in the second picture you will notice that there is blue embossing powder underneath the white. So, after I did my watercolor wash, spritzed with the sparkle shimmer spray, stamped the image, I stamped the sentiment with versamark and embossed with Powder (light blue embossing powder) but it wasn't as bright as I thought it would be and it didn't stand out from the background. So I went back (using my MISTI) and stamped the sentiment again on top of the already embossed one with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. And Voila! (I will post a video in the next few days to show you this technique)
